Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleDr Garrity and Mandy have been my dentist and hygienist for years. I’ve had nothing but a pleasant experience. I would recommend all families, definitely military families to this office.
The entire staff here is the best. The office is beautiful. They all work together as a team and are so efficient and patient. I had some issues I was worried about and they all put me at ease. Lynn did my cleaning and she was so sweet and informative. Dr. Garrity was wonderful as always. I drive quite a distance to come here. Every experience here is 10/10
Dr. Garrity and his entire staff are the best I have ever been to. As a military family who moves often, I never know what we will be walking into. They have gone above and beyond for me and I am eternally grateful for them!
Always pleasant, easy to work with and great hygienist! This office is gorgeous, the front desk ladies are always helpful, in person and over the phone. Dr. Garrity has wonderful calm Bedside manner. I found he can be slightly rough with a needle but he numbs you really well, does high quality work and I have never ONCE been sore the next day. Hygienists are awesome and are the most gentle flossers I’ve ever met. I hate hate hate going to the dentist cause I have weak teeth and almost always need work but I never minded my apt here. Point is you can’t go wrong.. like I said I hate the dentist and when we had to move out of state my first thought was “oh my goodness but I’ll never find another dentist as good as what I have now!”
The amount of care, & thought given to the comfort level of patients makes Live Oak the absolute best Dentists Office I've ever been to in my 56 years. I have a bit of problem anxiety (way above average actually). Every other dentist I've been to, I felt like the only thing that mattered to them was my teeth & gums. I would get more & more distressed, & stiffen up more & more. The dentist & aide would just keep going, & never stop to see if I was holding up okay. The dentist might speak AT me, telling me to open wider, but that was about it. I would go home with a numb face, & aching like I'd been beaten from the tension. Dr. Garrity understands my particular situation, because I told him, & he listened. He uses nitrous oxide. Unlike another dentist I saw, who used nitrous more to his benefit, to make me not move around much or speak. Dr. Garrity uses nitrous with me & asks frequently how I'm doing. His assistant sits with me, I think she's there to monitor my distress level. It's not until I can kind of meditate & remain relaxed that the dentistry part of it starts, & I can deal with the shots, drilling, & fillings. They watch; if they see I'm starting to grip the chair or shift around, they ask me if I need a break. I definitely feel like they care about me, I'm not just a bunch of teeth. I really appreciate that. That is what separates Dr. Garrity from the rest. If you avoid the dentist because it's so awful, now you know you CAN get the dental care you need to keep your teeth & gums healthy. Just GO. It will be okay.
