What a great experience! Dr. Kip Davis, Becky, and the entire staff were beyond friendly, polite, and professional.

I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for my appointment as a new patient with Mangnoila Dental at 400 Mangnolia Ave. Waynesboro Va. when I called na scheduled my appointment with Melissa she ran my insurance and said I was in the network. Now fast forward to my only day off (today) and I arrive at the office about 10mins early. As I walk in I am greeted, I state that I have an appointment at 12:15 so I give time my insurance card, in the mean time a African American lady got up and said goodbye and proceeded to walk out, no one said anything back to her. As she walked outside the 2 receptionist look at each other and ask what her problem was. Them Melissa states “ I don’t know I didn’t check her in” so obviously she wasn’t helped. So I’m waiting and waiting at the counter and Melissa says I don’t know if you’re in our network! I asked her why did she tell me I was when I called and she tells me “ It’s the patient’s responsibility to call and check with their insurance” I said “ You told me you accepted it and I filled out paperwork weeks in advance so why has things changed. Then she says “ I’m sorry you are frustrated” I was not frustrated yet, until she tell me I would have to pay $329 at the time and they will run my insurance later! At that moment I realized why the other African American lady walked out. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY UNORGANIZED JANKY OFFICE!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

I’m so happy I found Magnolia Dental! I’ve been going there for 4-5 years and every visit, no matter what I have done, I feel as though I receive great care. The front desk is friendly, making appointments is easy and they’re happy to work with your schedule. They have a cancellation call list, which, if your schedule is a bit flexible, is an awesome way to get in sooner if need be. I love my hygienist, Becky. She does an awesome job with cleaning as well as pointing any possible issues out to Dr Kip. Becky is always friendly and on my last appt, showed compassion when I told her I’ve had a rough winter. Dr Kip is also fabulous. I trust him to give me an honest opinion about any issues I currently have as well as issues we are keeping an eye on. I also like that they send me a text message asking me to confirm or decline my upcoming appt. After I confirm, they send an additional text reminder (with the date and time of my appt) a day or so beforehand. I find very helpful. Initially I was looking for a new dentist bc I wasn’t happy with my prior dental practice in Staunton and I’m thankful I found Magnolia Dental! Call them, you won’t be disappointed.
