TLDR: ask for Mindy if you don't like the dentist. She is very kind and patient I have extreme anxiety, especially when going to the dentist. I live in Starkville and I need a cleaning. I was especially nervous walking into this dentist office because they were in Tupelo and I didn't know anyone who went to this dentist. I was walking in blind. I randomly picked Mindy because she was available but divine intervention led me to her chair today. I think she knew I had anxiety from the beginning. She took it slow. She explained everything she was doing. She made small talk with me while she was getting things prepped which definitely took my mind off the dentist visit. Whenever I started getting overwhelmed, she backed off and gave me a minute to breathe without me having to ask. She reassured me that it was okay to take a breather. She told me in the middle of the scraping part that she ‘double checks her work at the end so just expect this one more time’ because that’s the part I hate and that was a nice heads up. She offered me sunglasses so the light wouldn't be in my eyes. She made sure to make notes in my folder about how I preferred this over that. Even though I was running out of the door after I paid, it was a very good experience and I will be back
