I wish I could give five stars, but I just can’t. I saw a wonderful dentist. I have a terrible phobia and had meds on hand just in case. Didn’t need them. He did an xray and told me exactly what I wanted to hear. Said I could come back in and get a filling. Said it was up to me if I wanted to go ahead and do a comprehensive exam or not. He said he’d write it down and put a ? by it. When I went to schedule my appointment, the person at the desk only made me an appointment for a comprehensive exam, I am not the filling, but is giving me so much pain. I pointed out to her that he was told me I would come back for the filling, and if I wanted to get a comprehensive exam that was up to me as I don’t have insurance coverage. She told me I would have to get the comprehensive exam before they would do the filling. I have been in pain for over a month now. This is ridiculous. I’m looking at at least another month if not more. I will likely keep looking to see if I can get in somewhere sooner, I’m not waiting another month.
Crooked. First of all, Dr. Kana charged a “consult” fee which Medicare would not pay for before an appointment was set for the actual service. Came time for the service which turned out fine but seven months later I receive a bill for anesthesia which he reported to Medicare as “not medically necessary”. I get a bill for $675 from Marshall Dentistry saying my balance was over 90 days past due! Insurance says they’ll pay if Dr. Kana edits the note saying anesthesia was necessary. Two messages left for Kana’s nurse. Two messages left with Marshall Dentistry’s billing. No call back. Place is crooked and unwilling to rectify their mistake.
Walked in as new patient. The office was clean. Comfortable seating. The employees were busy . I'll be back next month to get a tooth saved but if not, good bye tooth. I hope I don't get disappointed with this office. We will see . After my appointment, I will give a better review if things go well
I've been to a lot of doctors offices and never waited as long as I waited here. I'm talking hours after your scheduled appointment. My partner had an appt to get his teeth cut out at 10am they didn't even call him back until afternoon. The people are nice but they are either incompetent with scheduling or just flat out don't care about their patients time.. If you have to get oral surgery and have an option to go somewhere else... do it!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I literally had came there this whole year complaining about pain on my right side. October I had a visible abscessed tooth the dentist never prescribed me any antibiotics, the dentist said “we will prescribe you with antibiotics when you’re in actual pain? I had an infection in my mouth?? I ended up back there in pain crying to then have them call me in antibiotics. Then I come back in crying pain bcs my tooth was still killing me I was a walk in so they had me sit there never told me everyone will be seen before me. I was the only person in there in crying pain I understand these people had appointments but I waited over an hour and half and when I’d go back and ask the receptionist she was rude so I just ask for a copy of my records and left. I also wanna add when I did go back for the antibiotics I had one of the dental assistant start looking in my mouth without even asking what’s wrong or looking at my file and said “I see the problem cracked tooth on the back left” remind y’all I was there for an abscessed tooth on my bottom right. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING. And I truly believe for this whole year I’ve had some type of infection in my mouth and the pain just kept going away coming back. I’m at a new dentist now where I didn’t have to wait 2 months to have the root canal done they also are a very busy dentist but got me in because they knew how much pain I was in! I will never be back to this place they have made me terrified to even trust dentist now.
