Powered by GoogleI took my daughter to remove her two upper wisdom teeth yesterday. We were greeted by a very friendly staff at the front desk who was very helpful with all the questions my daughter had. Less than 5 minutes we were called into to the operating room which was well organized and clean. The staff were very professional and we were fully briefed of what to expect pre and post surgery. The dental surgeon made the procedure sound easy. The extractions went well and she is recovering well. Thanks to the staff that took her out to the car in the wheelchair. Appreciate you all!
The service I get here is nothing but respectful and professional. Dr. Kim is amazing and has done my extraction twice. The staff and nurses are always courteous. Plus I love the whole ambiance of the office space. The office looks so beautiful and welcoming. They are also honest and fair with their prices. I found them when I was almost over charged for an extraction by another fraudulent dental office. I am so glad I found them, cause instead of overcharging me, I instead got a refund. I recommend them anytime, anyday. This is not a paid comment but my honest feelings.
The process was really easy from the consultation all the way to my actual wisdom tooth removal procedure. The woman at the front desk were very polite, and the nurse that was with me during my procedure, made me feel calm and eased my nerves. Definitely a better experience than the first place I went to try and get this procedure done.
I had two wisdom teeth removed at Maryland Oral Surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. The oral surgeon explained everything clearly, which helped calm my nerves. The procedure itself was quick and surprisingly smooth. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and I barely felt any discomfort. Even after the surgery, the recovery instructions were very clear, and they checked in to make sure I was doing well. honestly grateful for how professional and caring everyone was. If you need wisdom teeth removal, I highly recommend Maryland Oral Surgery!
My actual procedure (4 wisdom teeth extraction under IV sedation) went very well and I’m healing quickly thanks to Dr. Kim. He explained the risks of the procedure to me very clearly and was very efficient. The office staff is another case. Upon walking in to the front desk I was met with a greeting and immediately handed the card reader to pay before I was even asked for my ID and dental insurance cards, very unprofessional and bordering rude but I needed my procedure so I let it slide. The staff was professional and cold, but again I was there for my procedure so whatever. Was given recovery instructions after I was done and all is well. Now, because this procedure was scheduled very short notice and as a medical emergency for my health, I had to miss an event I paid for that was the following day and planned on using the insurance I paid for to get reimbursed for the tickets and needed some documents stating that I had a procedure done, the doctors name, etc and sent an email to the office the same day as the procedure which was a Friday so I didn’t expect to hear back until Monday or Tuesday at the latest, as is standard practice for any office setting. Well today is Thursday, almost a week since I was in the office I hadn’t heard back. I called this morning to inquire about getting the documents I needed and was met with some animosity. I explained my situation to which the receptionist didn’t understand what I was asking because they of course hadn’t checked my email and thought I meant my dental insurance when it was in fact not for anything payment related for the oral surgeon’s office. Well FINALLY the office’s email inbox was checked and she saw my email. I was put on hold so the receptionist could speak to her office manager and was told that I actually needed to provide THEM with a form and I was confused because all I asked for was clearly outlined in my email. I was then told that they could only provide me with single form stating the surgeon’s name and what I had gotten done last week. I was over it and ready to get off the phone since 1. Clearly there was miscommunication and 2. These people are deeply unserious and ignorant as to how to properly run a medical office. I was told I would have the form shortly, thanked her for time and hung up. It’s now been a few hours and guess what? Still don’t have that form. My actual procedure was wonderful and I’m happy with my results but beyond that, I wouldn’t give a higher rating than 2-3 stars as I’m out of some money because they simply refuse to send me any forms, don’t check emails, are deeply unserious, and are very annoying. Dr. Kim is wonderful, his office staff leave MUCH to be desired. Please know that you cannot trust that any email correspondence will be returned let alone checked or read. Hopefully they’ll be better after reading my review. Peace and love.
