I had my top two wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vuu four days ago and I'm very happy with my decision to use Memorial Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. From the consultation to the surgery itself, Dr. Vuu and his staff were very professional. The surgery itself was great too. I was in and out in under an hour. I've also had no swelling or any pain since the surgery. Perhaps my two top wisdom teeth were particularly easy to remove for some reason or perhaps Dr. Vuu is very skilled (probably a combination of both). Regardless, my recovery has extremely easy.

Had the best experience with Dr Oshell! I came into the office nervous at first and both he and his assistant Pam put me at ease. Painless and easiest procedure I’ve ever had! Thank you Dr Oshell Pam and Jackie for the best care, your kindness and professionalism! Hands down the best oral surgery team!

Memorial Oral has been very helpful in analyzing and creating a surgery plan for my dental work. They were also extremely gentle and professional when I needed an emergency extraction which included a bone graft to prepare for future post to be installed.

So, I'm Black. I get to my 10:30 appointment early. The entirely unlovely woman at the front is curt, inappropriately familiar, and seems uninterested. As I sit down to fill out my inital paperwork, a white man in a wheelchair is wheeled in by his attendant; sitting directly next to the reception window, I can clearly hear the receptionist tell him that he is late for the same 10:30 appointment slot as me. He gets seen before I finish my initial paperwork. I sit waiting for 35min. I leave, still not having seen the doctor, just after 11. Another thirty-five minutes & I get a call from their office; the woman on the line, again, is very unprofessional, just casually stating the name of the office with a questioning tone and then sitting on the line as though entitled to an explanation for why I'm not present for the appointment that, at the time of calling, had been scheduled for MORE THAN AN HOUR PRIOR. Extremely poor client service. Ineffective and preferential management leading into an insultingly apparent bias in treatment. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get into the chair, lest my procedure be treated in such a lackadaisical manner. If you are Black, I highly suggest you spend your resources somewhere you will be treated with respect & not as an afterthought.

I was so scared to get my wisdom tooth removed for years, would postpone it all the time because I had bad anxiety and nobody i talked to made me feel comfortable enough to do it til i came here to Dr.Vuu and his time are so nice and welcoming. he explains everything perfectly and makes you feel comfortable and safe. I finally did it and i’m glad i did i will be coming back to remove the rest best place ever!
