Meridian Park Oral Surgery in Wasilla, AK provided truly outstanding care for our family. Both my 18-year-old and 20-year-old had all eight wisdom teeth removed, and from start to finish the experience exceeded our expectations. The clinical care was excellent, and both kids were well taken care of before, during, and after surgery. What really stood out, though, was the financial counseling. Before and after the procedures, they clearly explained what to expect from our primary and secondary insurance carriers, which removed a lot of stress and uncertainty. When our primary insurance initially denied benefits that clearly should have been paid, Meridian Park Oral Surgery worked directly with us to resolve the issue. Their communication, follow-through, and willingness to advocate on our behalf were exceptional. Professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough—I can’t recommend Meridian Park Oral Surgery highly enough.
Dr. Chavarria and his entire team are as good as they get. Excellent communication, excellent surgical care, excellent understanding of insurance networks. Fair warning though, their practice is not in network with the tooth fairy…trust me, I tried and got $0 to offset my copay.
Dr. Monaco is absolutely the best Oral Surgeon in Alaska. The entire team at his office is excellent, very professional, friendly and support you all the way through the process; they follow up and check-in on you during your recovery. Had an expose and bond done. He let me do oral sedation instead of IV. It went very well! No pain, no anxiety. Recovery is going well just taking a little Tylenol. I saw another surgeon before that said the surgery would have to be much more invasive, flapping my palette, and severing the nerve, Dr. Chavarria made only a small hole and got the job done without flapping or severing anything. My husband is a dentist and really appreciated his work as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My wife and I went here for a wisdom teeth removal date and couldn’t have been treated better. The staff were so kind and engaging. They answered our questions well and helped reassure me when I got nervous. Shoutout to our nurse Maggie and the rest of the team! Thanks for a great experience!
