I feel very blessed and thankful for meeting Dr. Yen and Susan - they make amazing things happen. Before I met Dr. Yen, I had always felt confused and uneasy by the oral treatments recommended by other dentists/companies. "Those treatments all look very fancy, but are they truly necessary? Will they cause other issues that we are not aware of?" I was very concerned about statements from scaremongers and the excessive treatment recommended by those parties. But without specialized knowledge, I couldn't make informed decisions. Dr. Yen came to the rescue. He is very smart, thorough, and knowledgeable. He explained the pros and cons of each treatment plan with great details and in an easily understandable way, which greatly helped my family and me make better decisions. While Dr. Yen excels in academic teaching and periodontal practice, Susan does a wonderful job in managing the office. As Dr. Yen's assistant, she helps arrange the meetings and provides tremendous assistance during each visit. Together, they make a wonderful team! I highly recommend visiting Dr. Yen's office if you have any gum issues, need good-quality implants, or seek advice. You will have the best resource in the Nashua area to tackle your oral issues.
Dr. Yen is top notch!!! So caring and knowledgeable!! He and his assistant extracted a tooth that had split in half below the bone. The extraction was painless and recovery was a breeze!! After the healing time I went back for the recommended bone and implant procedure. Once again.....painless and every detail covered! Beautiful office, my husband commented on how lovely and soothing the waiting room was....as he waited....LOL. I would recommend Dr. Yen as a caring and expert periodontist who does exceptional work.
I just had two sessions with a truly amazing periodontist. Dr Howard Yen was very thorough, gentile, skillful, and knowledgeable. He took all the time that was needed to do the best work he possibly could do. I had three bone grafts done, and two required a sinus lift. The surgeon (who shall remain nameless)who extracted those two teeth was ready to give me implants, but when Dr Yen saw my X-rays, he was concerned that there wasn’t enough bone from the grafting done when those teeth were extracted. Dr. Yen will not cut corners. I’m now confident that when I come to him for my implants, they will last me the rest of my life. Dr Yen loves his work, and he takes plenty of time to make sure the patient understands all that is going on. He his concern for his patients is genuine as shown by follow up calls and texts. Dr Howard Yen is a new special resource for the community. One can pay a lot more, and look far and wide, but they won’t find anyone better. Hopefully, I won’t need a periodontist again, but if I ever do, it will be Dr Yen that I call.
Dr. Yen is attentive, gentle and he explains things in detail but in terms the average joe can understand. I would recommend him to anyone in need of periodontal care or implants!
Dr. Yen is amazing! He genuinely cares about all of his patients from the start and goes the extra mile to ensure you’re comfortable. I had a one-off procedure done and he made me feel like I’ve been his patient for years. All of this is great, but the results were the icing on the cake. My dentist is impressed, the recovery was quick, and he even helped deal with insurance. 10 stars, easy :)
