As someone new to Ann Arbor, I found this clinic rather inconsiderate. We needed surgery to remove a supernumerary tooth. The phone appointment process was problematic from the beginning. They also do not respond to appointment requests by email. At the beginning, I was told they could not find my insurance information, whereas I had not experienced similar issues at several other clinics. I explained that we were willing to pay in cash even without insurance, but I was still told that I could not make an appointment. Perhaps this reflects the American healthcare system — without confirmed insurance, you may not even be eligible for care. Fortunately, it is confirmed that I did have valid insurance. However, even after that, I was informed that the earliest available first appointment would be two months away. Due to the language barrier, I did not feel much warmth or kindness from the front desk staff. I feel sorry that I cannot speak English well. I sincerely hope the clinic treats patients who truly need help with genuine kindness and understanding.
Went in for a tooth extraction and bone grafting to prepare for an implant. This is my 4th extraction total but my first extraction at the Dexter site. Dr. Lopez and staff were wonderful. It was the best extraction out of all of them. So glad I decided to drive out to the Dexter site. Will be going back there for the implant and if I am in need of an oral surgeon again will definitely be back. It's only been 24 hours since the extraction and I have minimal pain unlike the other extractions I have had at other dentists. They are AWESOME!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Dr. Lopez was truly the very best. My tooth extraction was painless and quick. He was so very kind to me during a very stressful and emotional time. Claudia was also very kind and thoughtful. Love this office and everyone in it.
Other than wishing I didn't have to get the tooth extracted, the experience could not have gone any better. Dr. Lopez is very attentive, answered all my questions, and provided a skillful extraction! Post operative care instructions were very well defined and a follow up call from the office the next day was greatly appreciated.
Excellent care from start to finish. Four of our children have had Dr. Lopez extract their wisdom teeth and we will take our fifth child to Dr. Lopez when it is time. He explains the process, is patient with questions or anxious feelings and is a very nice person.
