I arrived for an oral surgery appointment feeling very anxious, as many patients do before a procedure. Unfortunately, the experience with the staff made my anxiety significantly worse. The team was not understanding or supportive, and during the IV placement the doctor rolled his eyes at me after I said I was scared. At that point, I no longer felt safe proceeding and immediately asked for the IV to be removed. I left the office without receiving any treatment. Despite this, I was charged nearly $500 on my CareCredit account. I have contacted the office multiple times to resolve this, but no resolve or refund has been issued. I understand that offices have policies, but charging a large fee when no procedure was performed and no care was provided feels unfair and unprofessional. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision and encourages the office to improve their patient communication and billing practices.
I had an unexpected dental problem which needed an oral surgeon. With a total hip replacement scheduled in days, it needed attention asap!! They worked me in the very next day!!! The challenging procedure went very well!!! EVERYONE was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable!!! Great information was shared with me and all my questions answered!! 1st post op day, I am doing great!! I am so grateful!!
I recently had my wisdom teeth removed at OMS, and I was super anxious since it was my first time ever going under anesthesia. The entire staff was incredibly kind and reassuring—they made me feel completely at ease and like I could trust them without a doubt. They even gave me a blanket to help me feel comfortable. The whole process went smoothly and quickly. I’m so grateful to OMS for making sure I felt safe and cared for throughout the experience.
Dr. Tingey and Staff offer great service and care! I had to get two dental implants and was very nervous. They made me feel for comfortable and the whole process went smooth. Very caring and friendly!
I would give more stars if possible. The staff here did the very best possible; and then did so much more! I am impressed by their compassion, care for the patients as individuals, their knowledge and their expertise. I had a molar extracted and never needed a single pain pill afterward. My health has improved significantly since the extraction, which was the point of having the tooth extracted, since it had root canals done twice by a different dentist at a different practice and yet was still feeling wrong. Thanks to their studied techniques, I had no mental anguish or lasting stress due to the extraction. It was one of the most calming experiences I have had. I think because of their care for my mental health, the physical pain was nonexistent. If you want skill, compassion and expertise, this is the place to go.
