My daughter saw Dr Beaudin today for her wisdom tooth extractions and it was an incredible experience all around. They took us back right away, answered all our questions, made sure my daughter was comfortable and had all four of her wisdom teeth out before I could finish an email. Staff was kind, courteous and efficient, and Dr Beaudin made my daughter feel safe and comfortable the entire time. So grateful.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of care and communication provided by Midland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. My mother was scheduled to have her teeth pulled by this office in February. In the meantime, she unexpectedly needed surgery in Ann Arbor—about a two‑hour drive from us—on an unrelated issue, but still within her mouth. Before her Ann Arbor surgery began, her surgical team reached out twice to Midland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery prior to the procedure, giving them ample time to respond. The goal was simple: to coordinate and remove her teeth during the same surgery. This would have spared her a second round of anesthesia, another long trip, and a significant amount of additional cost. Despite these two advance calls, Midland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery failed to return the messages in a timely manner. They did not respond until after her Ann Arbor surgery was already completed, making coordination impossible. Adding to the frustration, Midland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is now saying that due to the condition of her mouth, they cannot perform the extraction after all — meaning she must now travel back to Ann Arbor for yet another procedure. This results in an unnecessary extra trip, more medical expenses, and another surgery that could have been completely avoided had they returned the earlier calls. The lack of communication, urgency, and patient-centered care is unacceptable. Their failure to respond cost my mother time, money, unnecessary pain, and additional medical risk. I would strongly caution others to consider the responsiveness and reliability of this office before trusting them with important procedures.
I was feeling very anxious about getting my four wisdom teeth out. The assistant helped talk me through my concerns, answering my questions, and made sure I was comfortable with the procedure. Dr. Poupard did a wonderful job answering my questions at my consultation, performed my procedure wonderfully, leaving me with an easy recovery. They even called to check on me the day after to make sure I was okay. Highly recommend this office!
Both Dr. Poupard and his nurses were amazing, and nothing but helpful! They made sure I was comfortable and felt no pain. I am still recovering as my surgery was this morning but so far I would recommend them to anyone and wouldn’t do it with anyone else!
I was so nervous to have my wisdom teeth out. Dr Beaudin and her team are absolutely amazing and made the entire process surprisingly pleasant (considering that this was a surgery). I cannot give enough praise to the whole team! Thank you so much.
