Great experience from start to finish. My Team was competent and very efficient. My doctor answered every question I had and thoroughly explained the process. The technician were extremely patient and supportive throughout the entire ordeal. They were responsive and made me feel comfortable. The desk attendant was friendly enough but kind of abrupt after I explained that my coverage included everything so there was no need to pay potentially out of pocket “expenses!” The procedure was very quick and I was leaving before I realized anything had happened. They used the newest medical technology which I found fascinating. I’m healing very quickly. They called me back immediately to address my after care concerns and texted the next day to check on me which I appreciated. They give you the right amount of medication to make the process painless and seamless. The worst part was the injections and that was not so bad. If you have anxiety you can be at ease at this oral surgery center. They make sure the procedure is totally painless except for the shots to numb your gums. The doctor paused to allow the Novocain to take effect before he finished the rest of the injections, which I appreciated because I have damaged nerve endings in my face so injections are excruciating. They even did a local numbing solution and that helped a lot as well. If you have anxiety about oral surgery Minnesota Oral surgery center is the place to go. They did a phenomenal job because it was not that intolerable compared to other centers that just want to do the shots, extractions, and bounce you out of there. They do bounce you out quickly but they are respectful and make sure you are comfortable during the entire surgical process. I still hate going to the dentist but if I have to get more extractions I’d want to go back to Minnesota Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center. The shots do hurt and for some it hurts more than others I’m glad they respected my situation and treated me as an individual. My only concern was a potential break from my injury and not getting the facial scan just to make sure. They give you the info you need for a successful healing process. I gave them five stars. They earned it! Call them today if you need oral surgery and you have severe anxiety you will be happy you did! Thank you so much to my team. Great job! God bless you all.

Most of the staff were very professional. I wrote my first review before I had time to really think about my experience. But I still feel like something needs to be said. Park dental sent me for oral surgery because they say they were concerned about my previous facial fractures being rebroken after a severe injury to my face which broke and loosened both of my two front teeth!. When I arrived the secretary showed me the itemized statement which was also a receipt showing all services were fully paid for. The services included a facial scan ordered by the dentist. The secretary then demanded i sign a statement saying that they might charge me more money and I should agree to pay for it although they were already fully paid. She said I had to sign the agreement in case they needed to charge more. Although they were already paid in full. When I refused as I was instructed by the Va ,she became hostile. Like she was already mad but was trying to retain her composure. When they called me back the doctor who was informed they I refused to sign said i wasn’t getting any other services I was just getting the extraction. That he could tell from the picture of my two front teeth which were highlighted that I was ok even after I had already told the nurse why the scan was needed, ordered , and paid for. How he could tell my entire face was ok without a scan was mystifying considering the excruciating pain on the left side of my face in addition to my teeth. I was concerned because it was ordered and contracted to be completed. He didn’t do it he numbed me up and was sarcastic that needles hurt . I felt his manner was dismissive and low key hostile. It wasn’t as blatant as park dental but it was still there. I just felt uncomfortable and not really welcomed but they were paid in full already although he refused to honor the order or the contract for a much needed scan. He did not ask me about symptoms that led to the order and It got worse after the surgery. It wasn’t just the needles or the pressure because my face still hurts worse than those two extractions. I did not feel comfortable saying anything else that I already tried to explain about why the scan was needed. He was very sarcastic it seemed that it was so painful even after the shots “stating that needless hurt after I tried to tell him that it was not normal pain just from the needles when he was numbing and working on my teeth. Not sure why but I didn’t feel welcomed there either! I left feeling like the left side of my face was cracked open. Two days later the left side of my face is excruciating i don’t know what they did for the abscess if that’s the problem but I don’t feel better and I’m not comfortable going back either. So there’s that. Veterans are human beings there is nothing wrong with us serving our country. Treating us like we are not welcomed or second classed citizens is unprofessional.

Very patient and caring staff. They made me feel comfortable and confident about my smile before and after. I never felt rushed or not heard. They were great at addressing any questions or concerns I had. They went above and beyond to help every step of the way.

The lack of competency is baffling. I had an RN who seemed like it was her first day on many levels (not knowing how her computer worked, being trained on how the process of imaging works) try to tell me before even looking at my x rays or mouth and consulting with someone at the front desk who had also never seen me that she recommends I go get a pallet expander first before I get surgery. I had just finished telling her a pallet expander is something I was considering but it was 16k out of pocket and I wasn’t even sure if I needed it so I wanted the surgeons input. I also asked her if she could email me the x rays and she told me she couldn’t but would take a picture on her phone and text it to me. She said this in front of the front desk staff who looked confused and told her she would happily email me my x rays, she does it all the time. I made a follow up telemed appointment so I could talk to the surgeon after my x rays were actually reviewed and this same woman called and asked if I started the process yet for a pallet expander. I told her no - because it’s out of pocked and I can’t afford it and I would like to speak with the surgeon to come up with a plan after reviewing the x rays and she said he doesn’t do tele-medicine appointments and I can come back to Minneapolis to meet with him. I’m wiping my hands of this place but this woman needs to be spoken with. If not for everything else, for giving surgery recommendations without consulting with the surgeon or even looking at my x rays. In not ok with my insurance being billed for pointless x rays

Had the best experience here because of their provider. A very smart and caring NP from St. Bens. Recommend because of her!
