Dr. Smith and her team did a wonderful job installing my first implant. I think their success is rooted in the management of the practice. Leadership matters: Dr. Smith has an infectious good will and positive energy in her approach to patient care. This breezy, "can-do" attitude carries over to the assistants and office staff that make the business work. Thanks to everyone for a great experience.

Editing to add: After reaching out to my insurance provider, I was informed that the pay discrepancies were not what the office claims they were. I was specific in my request to not have any work done that was not going to be paid by my insurance. I was told the bone graft was covered, so I gave it the go ahead. After talking to my provider, I was told that they would not cover the graft. The office is expecting me to pay for something I didn’t ask for, and only okayed after being assured it was covered. I’ve been back and forth with the office on the phone and it’s disappointing that they can’t seem to grasp why this is so frustrating. I feel forced to remove my 2 star review and give them a one star for trying to lie to me about this whole situation. Worrisome for a care provider to conduct their business like this. I don’t recommend them. Original review: The surgery itself went off without a hitch, and Dr. Smith was exceptionally professional. I was required to apply for a new line of credit because of the draconian healthcare system of America, and was given a FINAL bill before surgery. It was reiterated multiple times that it was FINAL. 2 months on from the surgery, I’ve received another bill totaling more than 100 dollars. I’m exceptionally thorough with the avenues coming in and going out of my money, and was blindsided by this. I tried to convey this frustration in a respectful way with their billing department and was dismissively scoff-laughed at by a “Deb” before she asked what my suggestion is for a better system. Don’t tell your patients that a final total is their final total if it’s not the final total? I paid my deductible, I provided my insurance, and I asked MULTIPLE times for confirmation that my bill was paid. I was told MULTIPLE times that it was. I did everything by the book, and now I’m being charged. It’s not my job to call my insurance daily to make sure the deductible rates aren’t changing for a surgery that happened and was paid 2 months ago, and it’s not my job to follow up with the office if their estimates were incorrect after I applied for a damned credit card just to afford necessary care to the tune of thousands of dollars. I wanted to like this practice but I’m truly uninterested in stepping foot in here again after this exchange.

Both of my daughters had their wisdom teeth removed with Dr Smith and Brooke. Both surgeries couldn’t have gone any better! They are professional but still personable and really made my teens feel comfortable with the whole experience. It’s so nice to see people who truly love what they do! It makes all the difference!
