The oral surgeon was efficient and knowledgeable, and the procedure was performed well. I did not find him to be particularly compassionate, though. I am allergic to any OTC analgesic, and I asked for something in an Rx that I could take instead. He said "sure", and then prescribed something so low-dose that it didn't exist in the pharmacies I checked. One pharmacist gave me a double dose with instructions to cut pills in half. Even that was unnoticeable for pain relief. So I'm not sleeping and holding my cheek and crying. Competency: 100. Desire to go back: 0. I was told by staff in the front to call back if I had any problems, but what would be the point? I already know how much help I'll get. So I'll wait this out and deal with it on my own.
I had an excellent experience at Momenta with Dr. Abdou and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Abdou was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped calm my nerves. The procedure went smoothly, and I felt well cared for every step of the way. Recovery instructions were thorough, I truly felt like I was in great hands and they even called a few days after to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Momenta to anyone looking for top-quality oral surgical care.
Dr. Salek and his team were amazing, I was so nervous and they made sure to answer all my questions! They made sure I was comfortable and even saw me for a quick recheck to make sure I was comfortable with my healing. Great team, great Dr, great front desk!
Great experience. Took my oldest and he had no issues and healed well. Also he loved the pint of Ben & Jerry’s they sent him home with. Will be taking my next teenager when she needs her wisdom teeth removed.
