Overall, I have been very happy with the team at Montchanin Implant Center, including the dental assistants and dentists. Everyone made me feel comfortable, were thorough about explaining the procedures, and handled the dental work efficiently and competently. My only gripe is that they seem somewhat aggressive about wanting to be paid up front for the full costs, and then you have to try to get dental reimbursement. This can be difficult given their pricing structure. This gave me an uncomfortable feeling from day one, but on the clinical side, things were perfect and kudos to the professional and administrative staff.
Honestly, Dr Tibbs and the staff at Montchanin Periodontal are the very best dental caregivers I have ever experienced in my many frequent flyer years of dealing with complicated dental and periodontal issues. Dr Tibbs is thorough, she did a fabulous job on my implant (and my recovery period was a breeze). She is expert and so personable. Staff, from the front desk to the dental technicians to back office admin are all professional, courteous and also wonderfully personable. The office itself is state of the art and immaculate. So grateful to have been referred to Dr Tibbs and Montchanin Periodontal.
Let me preface this by saying I never leave reviews… With that being said, this place is absolutely amazing. From the outside to the stunning inside. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was recommended this office because I had a large abscess tooth. Dr. Blackhurst was very through with her findings, and her assistant Taylor was knowledgeable and professional. They both provided a calming level of comfort during my procedure. I ended up having 3 teeth removed, bone graphing and 2 implants placed in the same day, with ZERO pain. Dr. Blackhurst is nothing short of a miracle worker. I was certain I was going to be in pain for a few days, but miraculously I had none. I would highly recommend Dr. Blackhurst and Montchanin Periodontics and Implantology to anyone who needs work done. Sincerely, A very happy patient
Dr. Tibbs was terrific. She explained everything in advance and thoroughly answered my questions. Everything went as well or better than expected. She’s extremely skilled and has a warm, kind and friendly personality, which is true of the entire team. I almost want another tooth implant (not really). If I ever need another one though, she’ll do it!
From the moment I visited this center, I knew I was in good, capable hands. The office staff, the dental assistants and the doctors all listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I felt like everyone went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable procedure. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a quality experience.
