I came here years ago. I had a bottle of psychiatric medication. The man look at me, he was insightful and caring, and said, "Son, I can get this medicine but do you know what you are doing to your body?" I replied: But the 'doctors' said.... He was absolutely right. I had numerous adverse reactions to those medicines and wasted my life trusting 'doctors' that had no imagery of what they were treating. They continued to treat symptoms that were caused by the very medicine they upped the dose on. It was horrible. This place cares so much. The best advice I ever got on medication was free, and I didn't listen. I found that here. I hope this helps somebody.
I'm a Combat Veteran and went for help with my teeth. They were were rude to me. Kept asking me about Insurance. All I have is VA Health Insurance witch doesn't cover Dental. They REFUSED TO SEE ME!
They called me after my father was on life support and many many bad things had also happed on the "worst day of my life" I said I couldn't talk I was gettin irritated so the terminated me they have no compassion for mental illnesses and they belive everyone sould be farting rainbows.. You would think voulnteers would care more we all have our problems but I wasnt allowed to have mine I never cursed them out or threatened anyone.. However years ago when I was going thru a mental collapse they decide to use this against me.. There taking food outta our mouth because my medicen is 400$ a month.. Ps thankas for adding to my already messed up LIFE not everyone is happy and are in your shoes you turn a homeless man away how you sleep at night is beyond anything I can understand.. But hey its not you so what does it matter right?? Your a volunteer and your obligation was to help the less fortunate thru the hars times just be glad your not me I never told y'all to off
A brother in Christ had an accident and could not afford to even be seen by a local dentist. I heard about this clinic and let my brother know about the clinic. He called and was able to get help the very same day. I praise God for this clinic and for all the volunteers that help provide this service. Thank you for your service.
I was the one that had the teath knocked out that Bill Yancy talked of. No dentist would see me on an emergency basis because I had no insurance and they would not let me pay it out! The clinic pulled the teath, removed bone fragments, and sewed my gums up at no charge. Jesus bless them!!!
