Patient Reviews
Powered by Google*DONT LET THEM DISFIGURE YOU FOR A MEDICAID CHECK**** I have been avoiding posting a review for the past two years in hopes that this office would remedy my situation but since they do not plan on satisfying their obligation as to provide me with Adequate care, compassion, kindness, or empathy, or the functional prosthetic dentures. I was promised when I agreed to let them extract all my teeth I feel it is very necessary to Warn anyone who is considering going here to strongly reconsider, and just don’t. I understand how hard it is to get dental care in this area and I traveled two hours from a rural area to get there and back. I feel that I was misinformed misguided and talked into having my teeth extracted prematurely because Medicaid just started paying for extractions and dentures and they sold it to me like I was going to get a brand new perfectly straight white Hollywood smile without telling me the negative truth or informing me of all the facts of my decision. I feel as though I was fraud and coerced into making a huge medical decision that has negatively affected my life in so many ways I cannot begin to list all because they wanted that Medicaid check for extractions, but I feel as though they never cared about the end of product or a satisfied patient they didn’t care if I had Functioning Working dentures that were wearable, they cared about the extraction money, and after that they were done when I tried to voice my complaints or have them remedy the situation. I spent a year constantly back-and-forth a 4 Hour Dr. give them numerous chances to remedy the situation and fix them and yet I was treated as though I was some kind of complainer in fact, they will not see me anymore because I’ve complained and they feel they can’t help me. Which is fine because like I mentioned before I would not want to take my animal there let alone myself or my child. I feel that they are trying to do Procedures based on state insurance, money, and parent checks instead of actually what’s best for the health of their patients, Dr. Allison lad at the very top of the list but as it goes down, all staff members are unprofessional no bedside manner are rude. I’ve heard them talking bad and making fun of patients that have left the office that were in complaining and angry and after they left the office then laughing about how upset the patient was when they left like it brings them joy to see patience leave there frustrated, sad, unhappy, and depressed. I’ve given the office manager numerous chances to contact me to remedy the situation or at the very least referred me to someone who can actually make the dentures I was supposed to get to begin with… Very rude very unprofessional. They do not care about their patients. They only care about insurance paycheck once they’ve gotten that out of your insurance and they’re not getting anything else from you after they just figured your face by ripping all your teeth out after they’ve made you a shell of a person who lives in your bedroom and can’t even eat at the table with your children or go out to family picnics or functions and eat or be taken out on a date and have dinner when your life is resulted into sitting in your room alone they don’t care because they got their insurance money and that’s all that matters. I hope that people take the time to read this and understand there is much more to this than what I’m saying I am just saying that you should not go here and let these people disfigure you and ruin your life
So many problems. One time they were not answering their phone during office hours so I drove their to find the door locked during office hours with the open sign still in the window. Another time a dentist told me they would do a restoration but when I tried to schedule it the office staff refused the appointment. I went to my next cleaning and the front desk and the dental hygienist refused to notify the dentist that I was still waiting for that appointment. Finally when I was there with my dependent I was able to see the dentist and ask her what was going on. She replied that she now was unable to do the restoration and had told the office manager to contact me to let me know but that never happened. Finally, they canceled a cleaning because of a hygienist illness but they did not have another appointment to reschedule. It takes over a year to get an appointment for cleaning. The lack of communication, the lack of appointments, and the demeaning attitudes from staff towards the lower income population they serve is reprehensible. And I have insurance.
Let me start by saying I have never written a negative review and hope I do not have the occasion to again. The beginning of the week I, happily drove over 100 miles to the clinic as I have been suffering from broken and other tooth issues. The initial staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel comfortable with my decision to go there. Dentist Crawford looked in my mouth, asked a couple of questions and wrote me a prescription for 2 medications. I asked why she wouldn't do any extractions? She said "You do not want me to do that". With no other explanation and I felt it wasn't an answer to my question at all? She suggested I return to my very rural area and get on their 9 to 12 month waiting list. I explained I cannot work or function like this. There was zero compassion from her. I left there in the same horrible pain but also feeling truly depressed and completely hopeless. I am now on my 4th night of not being able to sleep longer than a hour or two at a time withoutthe pain waking me up. And, even worse, no plan on how to proceed.
I've had two visits here, both were excellent. I found the entire staff to be friendly, informative, and happy in general. The dentist and both hygienists were very kind and professional. I was informed (without asking) before my procedure what my insurance would cover and then given the choice whether to continue. I've never come across this before at any medical facility.
We've had a fine experience when coming in for cleanings for our son, but when we came in for an emergency visit this morning (the 25th), we had the worst experience any of us (Mom, Dad, Son) have ever had with a dentist. The Nurse and front desk workers were all great, but when the Doctor came in (We didn't hear or don't remember her name), she had an awful attitude at us and at her fellow employees, she mumbled snotty remarks throughout the visit, and when it came time for our son get his tooth extracted, she was EVIL and BRUTAL, mocking him for having to go to the bathroom (and not letting him before beginning), and then ALSO mocking him for screaming and crying in pain as she wrenched on his tooth without even letting a few SECONDS go by after the numbing injection. I wish we read the reviews sooner, and I hope this review saves another child (or even adult, as some of the other reviews seem to reflect the same treatment) from this rotten lady. And MCD? Don't bother with your copy-pasted reply that you've put on the other reviews, I see how far back they go and we all know that you are not going to fix this. We will not be returning.
