Highly recommend Neighborhood Dental in Yankton! Their entire team is incredible and compassionate. I was very nervous before my appt due to my dental experiences in my past but I needed to establish care in the area after moving to Yankton. Every person I met with was so kind. They explained their process and the dentist Dr. Troy Larsen really took the time to listen to my questions/ concerns and explained everything very well to me so I felt confident in a plan going forward. Going to the dentist had always been very scary to me, even as an adult, but Neighborhood Dental eased all my anxieties and I’m actually looking forward to going back. (:
I’m 48 years old, so I’ve been going to the dentist for about 46 years—and this was hands-down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Let’s be honest, no one really likes going to the dentist, but Dr. Troy was amazing, and Sam, the hygienist, was so kind and easy to talk to. She explained everything without an ounce of shame or guilt about dental hygiene habits. The whole visit was comfortable, friendly, and professional from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Neighborhood Dental in Yankton to anyone I know!

The front desk staff were organized, friendly, and made the check-in process super easy.They took the time to explain every step of my treatment and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire visit.The entire team genuinely cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to make every visit stress-free and even enjoyable (which says a lot for a dental visit!). The office itself is spotless, modern, and comfortable. You can tell they really prioritize patient comfort and cleanliness. I've always had a fear of going to the dentist, but Dr. Larsen and everyone else at Neighborhood Dental helped so much with that. They are great at explaining the process and making you feel comfortable.
