Dominique was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. You can tell she really cares about her patients and is very good at what she does. She took the time to explain everything, answered my questions, and made the experience much easier! Dr. Sing and the entire team at North Pittsburgh Oral Surgery have been excellent through my entire experience with them, not just one visit. Every appointment has been professional, organized, and welcoming. Everyone in the office has always treated me with kindness and made me feel like I was in great hands. I highly recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery or dental work.
Things I did not like: I received texts for two different times for my appt. (9:30 AM & 10 AM). It was for 9:45 AM. I got a call the day before saying they could not find my insurance, and that I would have to pay out-of-pocket. When I got there, I filled out forms with pen and paper, when most of the information I had already given online. When I was sitting in the chair that I would get my tooth extracted, Angela explained to me that the extraction was 90% covered, but a Socket Graft and Collagen Plug which is recommended to do same day if I want to get an implant are 0% covered. I respect Angela for her making it clear that it is not her job to tell me this before I get there. I guess I am mad at myself for not doing any homework, and I am mad at Delta Dental Insurance for not insuring any of that procedure. Lastly, Dr. Roccia did not have the best bedside manner. He gave me attitude when I yelled in pain twice. I was in pain. It could have been easily avoided if I had been given enough novocaine initially. Things I liked: They booked me relatively quickly. The last Doctor that removed my teeth retired. I am a new patient. They even called and asked if I wanted to move my appointment up due to a last minute cancellation. Dr. Roccia did High Quality work! I can tell by how my mouth feels. Bravo. As much as what I complained about earlier, I will get an implant with him. I am confident he will do an exceptional job. I was happy with the quantity and type of pain medication he prescribed me without me asking for it. It is much appreciated. Thank you.
Very friendly and helpful doctor and staff. Dr. Roccia personally called the next day to check on me. The office is clean and runs extremely efficiently. I will highly recommend this practice to everyone. My only suggestion: tell new patients that the office is around the back of the buildings. I’m not from around here and found it very frustrating to locate. 😀
Dr Marsh was great; I had an implant with sedation. I have to have an infusion before procedures and he administered it to me after I brought in my medicine. All the assistants were lovely and kind. When you go there though, dress warm as it was very cold.
My experience was good at the start I was seen for tooth extraction, The assistant assured me this was 100% covered under my insurance. I again ask if covered again assure it was. I informed her if this was covered i. Did not want to proceed wirh the procedure. The extraction was done with some issues and took about hour and half. Dr was very rough and had numerous black and blue to my rt lower jar again prior to extraction ask if this was covered. Assured it was About month later I received a bill for over $800 stating my insurance didn’t cover the procedure. I have sent numerous letters to office. Asking if itwas not their responsibility to make sure this was covered and if not to inform me. As I have stated to them I would not have had this done. They have now sent to collections. I am an elderly lady and on a fixed income. I can not pay this. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
