Most people get extremely anxious about heading to a dental office or, in this case an Oral Surgeon’s appointment! There is no need to be stressed when going to this office! From the first phone call making my appointment, getting to the office, the Dental Assistant and then the Oral Surgeon…they all having a calming assurance that I have not experienced before. In what could be a very stressful situation, this office staff goes above and beyond making sure you’re as comfortable as possible. If you’re in need of an Oral Surgeon, I highly recommend them. My Dental Assistant, Elyssa was beyond amazing - THANK YOU SO MUCH ELYSSA (I hope I spelled your name correctly) for your comforting personality & patience. My Oral Surgeon, Dr.Robert Alderman leads you through your procedure with such a calming, caring & gentle personality. The same day, I received a call from Dr. Alderman himself checking to see if I was feeling ok and to answer any questions I might have. That phone call was from a genuinely concerned & caring person. Dr Alderman and his staff were wonderful. He had performed 2 implants in the past at another office and when I was told another tooth that I had a root canal on about 35 years ago needed to come out I asked to be referred back to Dr Alderman. He made sure I was numb and only felt the pressure of the extraction. He and Emily both went over post surgical instructions. Emily even applied ice and netting before I left the office. I had minimal bleeding. He called me later that evening to see how I was doing and to see if I had any questions. What I had been dreading went quickly and smoothly. I did sleep in recliner first night to help decrease any swelling and pain. I did not experience any swelling that I noticed and only minimal discomfort. Thank you Dr Alderman.
From the moment you walk into NEOMS, you are greeted with the friendliest front desk staff (I wish I could remember their names). Misti and Dr. Kelly were so kind and immediately put us all to ease. Dr. Kelly was lighthearted, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. My daughter’s oral surgery went very smoothly, and we were so impressed and appreciative of how willing he was to allow our daughter to provide her input during the procedure. 10/10 would highly recommend Dr. Kelly for any oral surgery!
The staff was very prepared for my visit. My special needs with hip pain and surgery on the horizon, were recognized and chair adjusted to comfort. Dr. Alderman did a marvelous professional job extracting my tooth and placing implant. Care information, gauze pads, etc were given to ensure comfort. Dr. Alderman called a few hours later to ensure I was doing ok and ask for any questions. Orders were placed for medication which I could pick up on leaving. Very good attention to detail. I would recommend in future.
Dr. Alderman, who extracted my tooth was very efficient and reassuring! It was painless and there was no swelling afterwards . I only had to take one Aleve and that’s it. His assistant was super friendly, and even gave me extra black tea bags in case of bleeding. The rest of the staff are super friendly too! Thank you for making me feel at ease!! God bless you all!
