I don’t write reviews very often but I want to tell the world how honest, calm, kind, patient, and knowledgeable Dr Elnakka is! A different provider told me I needed gum surgery so I came for a second opinion and after a thorough exam Dr Elnakka explained that my gums are healthy and normal! I am ecstatic this is the case and just beside myself about how well I was treated by Dr Elnakka and all of the staff at this practice. Especially Tatiana-she spent so much time on the phone with me answering all of my questions before I made the appointment. I am a healthcare provider and this group is in the business of caring for their patients NOT in the business of making money off of them. Thank you thank you Dr Elnakka!!!
I had a very positive experience at NOVA Perio Specialists. From the moment I first contacted the clinic to the time I walked out of my procedure, every staff member was very positive, friendly and empathetic to my needs. Ms. Crystal was amazing at checking me in and going over my treatment plan. The Hygienist Ms. Anusha was very gentle and professional. Dr. Panwar was awesome. She assured me that my current dental issues are manageable. I am very thankful to her for making my first visit to her clinic a positive experience. I have also recommended her to my family, friends and neighbors. Thank you Dr. Panwar. I look forward to working with you. 😊
I can’t say anything but great things about the practice and the stuff. They are wonderful, loving and caring. I had gum drafting surgery, painful but they made the experience so easy. Dr. Panwar is an angel. She such a wonderful doctor. I recommender her and the practice to everyone!!!
I recently had gum graft surgery, and from the initial consultation to the follow-up appointment, I was very pleased with the professionalism of the office staff, the aesthetic environment, and the expert knowledge of Dr. Elnakka. She helped me to make the right decision for the type of donor tissue and follow up care. They were honest about what to expect in relation to the pain afterwards, but if you follow the instructions you’ll be in good shape. I highly recommend the NOVA Perio Specialist for your perio care.
Even though I watched the video, I was not fully prepared for the extent of the surgery, including the procedure itself, options for sedation and the recovery time / process. I felt overwhelmed & scared during the surgery, and the Rx didn’t provide the correct instructions so I experienced significant pain unnecessarily during the first 48 hours following the procedure. I also wasn’t clear about how much time I would need to take off work to recover. I do appreciate that Dr. Elnakka was responsive when I contacted her re: the pain. The whole experience was just more traumatizing than I expected and I wish I had been given the option for sedation.
