This place sucks they are very rude. The woman surgeon that did my husband's surgery on his jawl does not care about the patient. My husband wanted the screws out of his mouth due to so much pain and they actually told him they could take them out in the office if he could stand the pain, REALLY?? HOW STUPID that is something you do under anesthesia. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Everyone here has been kind, empathetic, patient, responsive, and professional. Staff knowledge and skill set are beyond impressive. Truly, la crème de la crème. You will not be disappointed! Special shout out to Nurse Abby and Matt Merrill, Dr. Carson, and Dr. Weedman! Thank you all.

I was referred to them after a visit in the emergency room for a broken jaw. I called and set an appointment up with them and was told to come in the next day. The following day in the morning I receive a phone call from someone else telling me I am being scheduled for a surgery for the next day. I tell them I already have someone I was supposed to go see and have yet to speak with the doctor. I hang up and proceed to call the Maxillofacial Surgery receptionist. She was not only not very informative but after I asked to have a Doctor or PA contact me before my visit to help clarify some things I never heard back. I called the office shortly after my appointment time to find out why I have not heard back yet from either of them. When I call one of the receptionist Tara was very rude to me, she raised her tone at me and would not stop speaking over me to the point where I had to hang up and call back because I could not say or ask ANYTHING due to her. When I called back she answered the phone again and I asked her if she was going to continue to be rude to me. As she did continue to have an attitude with me she told me that they did not ask their Doctor to call me because he was in surgery(which is fine), and that they never asked the PA(which is who I was going to see today) to give me a call and help me better understand what was going on. I’m sorry but I’m not going to go see a surgeon that his own team can not keep their cool together over the phone when the patient has no idea what is going on. I’m not a doctor and deserves to be treated with more respect than this from someone I’m going to spend a lot of money seeing especially on someone that is going to potentially be doing surgery on me. If I was this doctor and this is not how I want my practice to be expressed, Tara would be looking for another job. What ever happened to the days when you could go see a friendly doctor that made you feel you will be safe in their care? Definitely not this place.

Dr. Weedman and her staff excel at providing care. Dr. Weedman is very thorough during her exam, very informative to questions and provides the best assessment/plan on moving forward with your healthcare. Excellent Physician.

Referred here for extensive TMJ pain/difficulty eating as a pt with history of maxillofacial surgeries and sent for CT. I was called by the ?nurse at this dept and informed that there was nothing wrong per CT and "TMJ pain can be chronic and lifelong, probably stress." No follow up, no contact with the doc, no MRI. I took this at face value, and figured I'd just deal with the pain. Thankfully my primary care PA pushed for a referral elsewhere, because an MRI at UNC showed my TMJ disc was completely dislocated with bone on bone contact + no recapture on opening, and I was scheduled for surgery within the week. I understand CT not showing this, but dismissing a pt so that they believe pain that *permanently impedes eating solids (in a pt in their 30s)* is to be expected? Hugely unimpressive.
