I had half of my wisdom teeth removed two years ago with a different oral surgeon and had a horrible experience. When it came time to remove the remaining two, I decided to go with NYOMIS and I’m so glad I did. I went into the procedure extremely nervous, but I didn’t need to be. For something that can feel so intimidating, the entire process was incredibly seamless thanks to Dr. Horowitz and his amazing assistant. They reassured me every step of the way, and they were absolutely right there was nothing to be scared of. I 100% recommend Dr. Horowitz. Not only are they genuinely caring, but they truly put their patients first. Also worth noting: the first time I had teeth removed, I dealt with major pain and swelling for days. With NYOMIS, I had almost no swelling, and the pain was only a fraction of what I experienced the first time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I was coming from Ulster County and I was given an appointment the same day. I walked into the office literally screaming in pain. Everyone was wonderful. They dealt with my dramatic screaming. The oral surgeon told me everything he was going to do before he did it. And when he did it, he did it fast and precise, even with me having a massive infection and trouble opening my mouth. To find a doctor like this upstate is nearly impossible. I wish he had an office closer to me. If you're looking for an oral surgeon, look no further. This place is amazing, the people are amazing, the doctor is amazing. I will absolutely be returning. The doctor even called that night to check on me and the nurse called the next day, something rarely seen these days.
Dr. Horowitz and Nicole were amazing- patient and understanding. My whole procedure was quick and pain-free! The office took me last minute and I'm so grateful! I have found my new Oral surgeon office!
I had a wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Andrew Horowitz. He and his staff carefully explained what was to happen and clearly outlined post extraction care. It’s now 24 hours later I am in no significant discomfort nor was I during the procedure. I hope I do not need Dr Horowitz’s services soon but if I do I would not hesitate to see him again.
My daughter came to this office for a consultation for wisdom teeth. Plenty of parking outside. Use the elevator to get upstairs. Very new looking and clean office. The entire staff was helpful and informative. Less than a five minute wait to see the doctor. Dr. Horowitz is very knowledgeable and friendly. If your insurance covers, I would highly suggest using this office for oral surgery. Not open every day, there are a few days in Scarsdale.
