Best dental surgery experience and outcomes after many types of procedures from many providers. Dr. Haskins is exceptionally talented, very straight forward financial planning experience, staff was very welcoming and helpful each time. Megan provided great pre-op prep support. Very thankful for the referral compared to all the other possibilities.
We had a great experience at Oakland Oral Surgery Center with Dr. Metwally. My daughter had two teeth pulled today, and I was very nervous going in because we previously had a not-so-great experience at another office. Dr. Metwally has an amazing bedside manner. He was calm, kind, and very reassuring. The assistant in the room (I wish I remembered her name!) was also incredibly sweet and supportive the entire time. What really stood out was how they connected with my daughter. They took the time to talk with her about her upcoming vacation and made her feel excited and happy, which helped ease her nerves so much. It meant a lot to me as a parent to see her feel so comfortable. Everything went smoothly, and the whole experience was better than I could have imagined. I’m so grateful we found this office and would highly recommend them, especially for anyone with a child who may be nervous 🩷
Oakland Oral Surgery is Outstanding. The staff at South Lyon & Livonia are caring & welcoming. Dr. Metwally had to pull my fractured molar. He is so kind & gentle & treats you like family. He was out of office & I saw Dr. Haskins also & he was great also. These doctors actually listen to the patient & address your needs. I had a painful dry socket & they kept going out of their way to relieve my pain by follow up appointments & medication in extracted tooth socket & oral medication to help me. I was impressed that Dr. Metwally called me same day of extraction & other days I saw him out of concern to see how I was doing. A very kind & caring doctor. God bless everyone who was so caring at Oakland Oral Surgery.
Sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes passed my scheduled appointment before being called in for consultation. Met with a nurse and had a brief procedure done. Waited another fifteen minutes. Spent ten minutes with the doctor. Discussed the cost of consultation and future procedure with receptionist. Found out, then that the minor procedure that was done is not covered by insurance. Not happy that I wasn't told beforehand. I realized later that I did not receive all the paperwork and receipt that I requested.
My nervousness with dental extractions was my worry today when I had 2 teeth extracted. Everyone in the office was very kind, friendly and did a great job explaining the procedure step by step. Dr Meteally did a fantastic job along with his assistant. I highly recommmend Oakland Oral Surgery Assoc. on Pontiac Trail.
