Our experience with Dr.Kelson and his office staff was excellent. From the first time I called and they got us in so quickly to the feont dest staff the morning we got there to the consult with Dr. Kelson and him explaining everything to us and asking my child questions to get her alittle more comfortable since she was so nervous. A super nice girl took her back into the procedure room and my daughter said she was so nice an her and the doc kept asking her questions and made her feel better. When i picked her up in the room after her procedure she was in a super comfy chair with a blanket over her and she had a balloon and she for to pick out a cool toy. The Doc came in agan to let me know how she did and explain discharge papers and we were on our way. He even called in the evening to make sure my daughter was ok and feeling well and said if I had any questions to not hesitate to call. Our experience with Dr.Kelson was excellent and my daughter said if she had to get her procedure done again shed be happy to go back.
Dr. Stephen Kelson is fantastic. My daughter had oral surgery and was very nervous about it and he made her and I feel very comfortable. The surgery went great and he followed up with us after to make sure she was doing okay and to check in. Everyone in their office is super nice and it was overall a great experience. They took great care of the both of us. Highly recommended! 10/10
I should have left a review a long time ago. My experience here left a lasting impression so I feel compelled to say something. I do not recommend this place. I had my wisdom teeth removed here and ended up with dry socket. Dr. Stephen Kelson told me to go ahead and rinse post surgery. I should have just followed the instructions on their handout. That's my fault. I'm not mad about that. What upsets me is that I was in tremendous pain and I returned for treatment. I saw Dr. Michael Kelson, who scolded me for rinsing post surgery. Then, without numbing or any warning, he shoved medication into the dry socket. I yelled out in pain and cried. Dr. Michael Kelson said nothing. He turned his back and walked away. I left there shocked, trembling, and completely humiliated. Never. Again.
This was my first time in their office and I had to go in for a biopsy it was a wonderful experience very calming very respectful and doctor was so gentle and did a wonderful job even after I was done and left that evening he called to check on me to make sure everything was still good to give me his cell number in case I needed to call him I thought that was excellent and excellent customer service is what I call it and that's few and far between nowadays. Dr to patient communication excellent I would recommend these guys for anybody honestly. Thank you so much
I recently had oral surgery with Dr. Kelson in Olympia, and I can honestly say the experience was far better than I expected. From start to finish, the entire staff was attentive, comforting, and professional. A special shoutout to the nurse who prepped me for surgery — she was young, funny, and so easy to relate to. She made me feel calm and even made me laugh when I was nervous. Dr. Kelson was stern but genuinely caring. Before the procedure, he walked me through everything step-by-step and made sure I felt completely comfortable. I remember him gently starting my IV, and the next thing I knew, I was waking up in recovery feeling well taken care of. If you’re looking for an oral surgeon who’s thorough, compassionate, and supported by an amazing team, I highly recommend Dr. Kelson and his staff in Olympia.
