My family have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Mortenson and his staff. From wisdom teeth removal to implants, Dr. Mortenson is caring, efficient and competent. I would highly recommend Oral & Facial Surgery Group in Frankfort.
I had two molars break and was in tremendous pain, called explained the issue and requested an appointment that day. Of course they couldn't ((understandable)) they got me in two weeks later! On the initial call I was promised the broken teeth would be extracted same day so I would no longer be in pain!!! I get there and they take all kinds of xrays of my teeth. Then Dr. Mortensin comes to tell me I have 2 broken molars that need to be removed ((SHOCKER)) I tell him I'm very well aware and was promised they would be removed that day!!! It was like I just told him I was a serial killer!!! He absolutely refused to do anything with my molars or any of my other dental needs ((cleaning, fillings on 2 small cavities)) and told me it qas impossible to do same day extractions I would have to make another appointment and come back in a few weeks!!! That was 3 months ago!! Still have my awesome broken molars!!! This office is a joke!!!
I am a dental hygienist out of state and my father was referred to Dr. Mortenson for a spot on his tongue. It was in a highly suspicious spot and had been reported to have been there for a while. Instead of taking a biopsy that day Dr. Mortenson waited A MONTH. A month of wondering....of questions. Now at this month visit he decided to biopsy. Oral cancer is best caught in early stages. Waiting a month to biopsy is unacceptable. I am highly unsatisfied. Now we wait again.

Suffered an accident and needed emergency surgery put a tooth back in place. The staff did an excellent job of figuring out the situation and getting the tooth stabilized. Thank you so much for fixing a difficult issue
