Getting a wisdom tooth pulled can be a daunting experience, but everyone in this office made it a breeze. Their patient care is beyond the norm; they were very sincere, friendly and helpful! The actual procedure was quick and easy. The follow-up was fantastic. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
I sincerely regret getting my wisdom teeth removed here. The procedure was not adequately explained to me ahead of time, and I was grossly underprepared for the outcome. The post-op patient experience has been absolutely terrible. I have called the office five times since my surgery nearly 4 weeks ago, and every time I am triaged by someone other than the oral surgeon or someone truly qualified to triage me. The staff is dismissive, rude, and lacks compassion. As someone who has worked in healthcare all my life, I am disappointed with this practice and how I have been handled as a patient. I have had extreme pain and numbness, and I keep getting pushed off by the clinical staff. I had to schedule an appt with another local provider to have a post-op exam because I was unable to get in with them. Terrible experience and it has ruined my perception and respect for the surgeon. I suggest anywhere else but here to anyone seeking compassionate and comprehensive care in Las Cruces.
I was worried going into the consultation that I would be encouraged to use general anesthesia instead of local, but the doctor made it very clear from the beginning that it was entirely my choice which was very comforting. The staff is very sweet and kindly chatted with me while getting ready for surgery, the distraction made a huge difference in how anxious I felt. I was shocked at how quickly the surgery went, my appointment for the extraction of 4 wisdom teeth was at 10am and I was leaving by 11. Highly recommend Dr Slaughter.
Staff was very professional and kind from the very beginning. Front desk, personnel, wonderful. Dr. Slaughter was excellent. Very professional knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. I had no pain throughout the procedure. All of the ladies in the Examination room were so professional, and right on top of everything. It’s only been a day and I have no pain, and everything is going perfect. If I need to get another tooth extracted, this is the place for Me!
I was worried about my procedure but the staff and Dr. Slaughter made everything go so smoothly. They explained every step and there was no pain at all! Everything went well and I've never felt more cared for. His staff even called to check up on me later in the day. I highly recommend Oral & Facial Surgery of NM!
