Powered by GoogleWe cannot recommend Dr. Harris highly enough. From the moment we walked into the office, the entire staff was incredibly nice, professional, and genuinely caring. Our son needed three complex procedures: the removal of a supernumerary tooth growing above his permanent teeth, the extraction of a baby tooth that was pressing on a nerve, and the revision of a tongue tie that had been fixed incorrectly by a previous doctor. Dr. Harris was the one who was finally able to correctly fix the tongue tie for good, bringing us immense relief. Due to our son's heart condition, his surgery needed to be performed in a hospital setting. Dr. Harris and his office were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to get everything set up seamlessly at the hospital for us. This level of coordination and attention to detail gave us such peace of mind. Dr. Harris is incredibly personable. He walked us, the parents, through every step of the process, ensuring we understood the procedures and the reasons behind them. He made sure our son was properly taken care of, including detailed and thorough aftercare instructions and medications We truly could not have asked for a better experience under such stressful circumstances. If you need a skilled, caring, and professional oral surgeon, Dr. Harris is the absolute best.
My son had his wisdom teeth removed at Wichita OMS and we had a great experience. The front office staff, Jeanna and Jackie were proactive before the procedure to make sure I knew what I was paying the day of and that all was in order. Wisdom teeth surgery with Dr Harris went well and he is home recovering now.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! I’ve waited 3 years to write this review. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Blanchaert in April of 2022. Here we are 3 years later and the whole right side of my mouth and tongue is still completely numb. He told me it was due to swelling of certain nerves and it could take up to a year for feeling to come back.. DO NOT go to him. I was in and out of my wisdom tooth surgery in 30 minutes and I had 3 out of 4 of my wisdom teeth impacted. He obviously was negligent and rushing my surgery. Please save yourself the stress and sadness and find a better dentist. I now have issues eating and my speech has a slight lisp to it. Please do not go here. He was rude and completely negligent.
I will have to say Dr. Chris Harris treated me right. Need a absucced tooth out and the only thing the hurt was the tooth being pulled out. But after that was done. Ive only had 2 dentist in my whole life to get a tooth pulled . That didn't hurt.
I can see why this office has a 2.8 rating on Google and after reading through the reviews the only comfort I can take is that at least I am not alone in my not so great experience with this office. From reading the responses from the office though, I highly doubt they take seriously or even care about the feedback that people have given. I have 4 children so I am not a stranger to dealing with dental and Dr offices. I work for a very well respected retired Dr in town as well who is appalled at my experience. Initially my son was seen towards the latter/middle part of May for a polyp under one of his teeth that needs to be surgically removed. We saw Dr. Harris and I will say he was very nice, very professional and seemingly down to earth. He made my 7 year old son feel very comfortable as well. We were told that we would hear back on a couple weeks to schedule after coordinating with insurance on the surgery center that was to be used. After a couple of weeks I had not heard anything so I called and was told that the insurance process takes a minute and they would call me back to schedule. Right after that I actually got a text message giving me a date but not a time, as the surgery center would have to call me with a specific time closer to the date. No one really asked for our input on if that date was ok. After checking at work and realizing that day was not going to work I texted the message back that I had gotten my initial appt date on and asked if I could reschedule a little further out to a Tuesday in August as that is my only day off of work. The response I received back was rude and stated "Dr. Harris usually has multiple patients scheduled at the hospital in a row, so it's important to find a day and honor the appointment so we don't have to move several other patients who are scheduled that day. Millie or Kayla will have to reach out to you to reschedule when they have a minute." It is difficult to honor an appointment time when no one checked with us to begin with to see if that appointment was even going to work for us. I found it to be very rude that my needing to find a better time that would work with my work schedule was somehow treated as an inconvenience for everybody else. When I asked who I was speaking with I was told "The office manager. Dr. Harris and his assistants have patients until 4 pm." Again, very rude and unprofessional. Obviously shouldn't be working with the general public and as an office manager no less if having to deal with people is going to be taken as an inconvenience and this treating patients, or potential patients, as though they are a problem. It is sad because I really was looking forward to working with Dr. Harris but if this is how we are going to be treated by the office manager I am thinking we might have to see if our insurance will cover any other such Dr offices in town
