About the Practice
Our practice has been in the same location for years! Dr. Sunil Sinha purchased the practice from a retiring doctor in 2008. Our practice began with two locations and a single surgeon. Since then we have grown and expanded to serve the greater Chicago area. Dr. Sinha and Dr. Shuaib Malik are partners in the practice and are proud to have three associates at this time. Both Dr. Sinha and Dr. Malik received their dental degrees from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Sinha received his specialty degree in Oral Surgery in 2007 from University of Cincinnati. Dr. Malik was trained at the prestigious University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. We currently have four locations to serve our patients: Orland Park, Midway, Oak Lawn and South loop. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Chicago practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform bone grafting procedures. We specialize in the placement of dental implants, including a procedure known as the All-on-Four technique to restore a beautiful smile in one visit. Our office also provides services you may not expect from the Oral Surgeon such as some cosmetic surgeries and skin resurfacing. We offer the famous anti-aging "Pelleve" laser treatment, fillers, Botox, and even hair transplant procedures. Our doctors are affiliated with local hospitals to provide quality care and treatment to all our patients- existing and NEW!

Staff was polite, but this place is a total money grab. Paid my copay for a consultation, no big deal. But then I am told 3d xray is needed to give consultation and that would not be covered. I should have stopped there. I said OK and agreed to the 210 charge for the xray in addition to what I already paid when I got there. After the scan, I was told insurance would not cover the procedure and I would be out of pocket. I feel like if they were true patient advocates and customer orientated, then they should have just been honest. If you decide to try this place, dont be surprised when you walk out feeling ripped off. Good luck
Overall I had a Great Experience. The entire staff made me feel comfortable about my wisdom tooth extraction. I would highly recommend Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Chicago to everyone ! Thank you again to everyone who helped !
I visited the office yesterday for an emergency extraction due to a split tooth that was possibly infected and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. I will say I had to wait quite a bit but I can’t complain since they were the only office within a 10 mile radius that was able to squeeze me in. The office has a modern, beautiful, clean atmosphere. The assistants were amazing and made sure to answer any questions that I had. It was quite cold in the operating room so they were even kind enough to give me a blanket. They allow you to choose the music playing during your procedure or if you’d like to watch tv which was nice too😂 Dr. Sinha did my extraction/bone graft and he made sure to keep asking if I was comfortable/if anything he was doing was painful while working on me and explained everything that he was going to do before the procedure. Despite my complicated root, he did a stellar job and I am recovering very well with no swelling and little to no pain. If anyone needs an oral surgeon for an extraction and dental implant procedure I highly recommend Dr. Sinha as he is very professional and has great bedside manner along with the office attendees. Awesome place!! Update: beautiful new office location!! Waiting room is super luxurious and more convenient than the previous northwestern hospital location. (Check 2 pictures)
Everyone at this location is extremely nice and caring. Wisdom teeth extraction with minimal pain during operation. Was able to get me in for a checkup 5 days post opp, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was healing correctly and I was comfortable with the operation. I will be back for dental implants!
Love the decor and cleanliness of the office. All of the staff are friendly and compassionate, never a long wait when you arrive. I Recently had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Tessie. I am now about 3 weeks post op. Going in from the consultation up until procedure day, It was definitely nerve wrecking but the staff were great at making sure I was comfortable and answering any questions that I had. There were Only one or two days where the pain snuck up on me but was manageable with the pain meds prescribed along with cold and warm compresses. Recovery so far has not been bad and I had very minimal swelling. Im a little sad that I wasn't able to keep my teeth though lol. I do love the fact that you are able to use Cherry as an option to pay on your bill if you dont have/dont want to pay all of the lumpsum upfront. All in all, I had a great experience. If I need any other procedures in the future (but hopefully not lol) I would definitely choose Oral Maxillofacial to perform it. Thank you for this pleasurable experience! Update: Ladies if you are using the pill as contraceptive measures and get a procedure done, be sure to take extra precautions while taking the antibiotics. I wasnt counseled on this when asked what medications I currently take. My pills became ineffective while taking the antibiotics. We got surprised shortly after the regimen was completed and we have kids due June 2026😭. Stay safe lol.
