Great staff and was quick in and put procedure. Would recommend to anyone getting wisdom teeth removed or anything else.
I had all four wisdom teeth removed. The actual surgery went well and recovery was great. I kept waiting for the pain to start and it never did. I didn't even take any sort of pain killers. However, the staff was less than attentive to my nervousness since I have never had any other surgery done before. All they cared about was getting me in and out as fast as possible and on to the next surgery. They had also asked to move my appointment the day before which I couldn't do since my ride was set up and was coming from far away so changng times would have been difficult that close to the surgery. They got angry with me when I said I couldn't. After the surgery, I called with a couple questions two different times about 3 weeks apart and the front desk lady told me they would have a nurse call me back. Both times they never called back. While the surgery went well, don't expect any sort of attentiveness or aftercare from this place.
From check in to check out, everything was outstanding. I had a sedated procedure which could not have gone better. I awoke with no nausea and no dizziness.I felt totally in control and was kept in recovery after the procedure. Aftercare was top notch with great patient education. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Schmidt. Conscientious and so competent.Everything happened as he predicted. All questions answered thoroughly too. Great oral surgeon, great staff!
My Experience with Oral Surgery Associates was a very positive one. Dr. Schmidt and his staff are very kind, caring and professional which confirmed my decision to choose their office for my Oral Surgery care. My initial appointment was for a tooth extraction with a follow up dental implant. Both procedures were quick and painless and Dr. Schmidt is very down to earth with an outstanding bedside manner! I always felt that I was in good hands which made the procedures even more relaxed (and I am normally a very nervous patient when it comes to dental care). Had a good experience for both of my teenage girls getting wisdom teeth removed. Consultation was efficient and both Dr Schmidt and his fantastic assistants were very helpful with answering questions. On the day of extraction the whole experience went smoothly. From the front desk check in to the post op instructions at the end of the appointment, everyone was incredibly helpful. A follow up call the day after was well planned and answered any questions that remained. Would definitely recommend Dr Schmidt and his wonderful team
