Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleI’m always satisfied with how they take care of me. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The cleaning and checkups are quick and thorough. I felt at ease with Diana; her gentle touch made everything stress-free. Definitely, if you're looking for good cosmetic dentistry in the Las Cruces area, Dr. Wolf is a fantastic choice. The drive from the greater Santa Teresa area is totally worth it!
I have a read a couple of these reviews and Im shocked. My entire family sees Dr. Wolff and his staff. My husband has anxiety and chronic pain so being in a chair is difficult. Dr Wolff is the only dentist my husband will ever see because of how amazing he and his staff are in caring for my husband. They're great with the rest of the family but absolutely fantasic with my husband. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
if i could give 1 star i would. i’ve had several bad experiences with my teeth in general, many surgeries, many dentists, i cannot stand needles so trying someone new was terrifying. the staff here are phenomenal, so attentive and sweet. but “Dr. Wolf” is as worse as they come. right off the bat our very first appointment or interaction he immediately starts beating down on me for the state of my teeth. leaving 0 room for compassion. saying i have the teeth of a 85 year old at 17. he told me it looked like i hadn’t brushed my teeth in months and they’re so bad he doesn’t know what he’s gonna be able to do. in no way i have good teeth, they’re crooked and i spent several months in depression so normally my teeth didn’t stay as healthy. cavities here and there but i remained faithful to brushing and flossing. and that was my whole intent of going to someone with such high reviews, i’d hope they’d work and understand me the way these reviews do. i had 2 teeth pulled, first only one side was numbed with the gel and the other wasn’t. the injection hurt badly on the bottom where there was no numbing. after it set in, they started, removing the teeth was not just “light pressure” as they described. i started feeling immense pressure and discomfort while they were scooping it out and asked to stop. i cried and cried and cried some more just for him to start again. the bottom was so much worse and i felt sharp pulling pain so again started crying and he completely beat me down, saying i need to calm down, telling my mother they need to have a serious talk about my anxiety and why im acting this way. he said im too old to be crying at such a simple and easy procedure. i haven’t had something like this in years and truly i felt so disgusted by how he handled this situation. a patient already freaking out just to make it worse. if you have dental trauma do NOT come to him.
I’m very disappointed with our experience at this dental office. My daughter, who struggles with anxiety, was treated with little patience or understanding. Instead of offering compassion or taking the time to listen, Dr. Wolf belittled her and made her feel bad about herself. They even told my daughter she was “too old to be acting like this” because of her severe anxiety, an incredibly hurtful and unprofessional comment. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to see my daughter leave feeling ashamed and embarrassed instead of supported. Dental visits can be stressful enough for anyone, especially a child or teen with anxiety, and kindness goes a long way. Unfortunately, that was not what we experienced here. I hope this feedback encourages the office to practice more empathy and sensitivity with patients, especially those who are anxious or nervous. We will not be returning.
Little to no cohesion between front desk receptionists. I have been receiving multiple calls from them daily trying to reschedule my cleaning appointment, yet the reason this appointment was canceled to begin with is because another receptionist had called me and told me that there was an issue with my insurance and that I couldn’t schedule my cleaning appointment until I got that fixed. Yet days later I get multiple calls per day still going on weeks later calling me to reschedule this appointment. I finally spoke to this receptionist and told her the issue with my insurance that the other receptionist told me about, and she just says oh I didn’t know this was an issue and hung up on me. I’d appreciate for the receptionists to communicate with each other before they begin calling me daily. I also dislike how the dental hygienist main goal seems to be upsell patients. Each time I visited I’ve been up sold fluoride, whitening treatments, and even dental implants, which I have stated multiple times I am not interested in yet at every single appointment, they asked me. it makes me uncomfortable and puts me in a weird position. Makes me also kind of feel judged not everyone can afford that, insurance only pays for a small portion.
