The dentist and hygienist were great! However when I called to make the appointment, I asked if my insurance was in network. The woman on the phone who I later learned was the office manager said yes, so I booked the appointment. When I checked out at the desk after my appointment was over they charged me $200+ for just a cleaning and x ray. I’ve never paid that much with my insurance, my insurance has cleanings covered and for x ray it’s no more than $70. The front desk girl explained to me that my insurance is not in network and the woman made a mistake. I asked to speak to the office manager- she wasn’t there and was told that she would call me back. The front desk refunded the $200 and said the manager would call me. My appointment was January 8, still no call. I was billed in the mail and through text another amount that doesn’t add up to what my insurance should be. I won’t be coming back. If they were out of network, I wouldn’t have made the appointment. That’s why I called ahead to make sure.
We are glad to call Oxford Dental our dental home! Our whole family has been going here for five years and we couldn't ask for better! Just recently, my husband cracked his crown which was completed elsewhere. Not only were they kind enough to get him in for an appointment quickly, but they were also very honest about recommending he check to see if it was still covered under warranty by the dentist who completed it. A less honest practice would have completed the work and billed it, but they are upstanding and really look out for their patient's best interests!
The whole Staff was very Professional, it was like I had been there 20 times, they really make you feel like family very attentive, and caring. My visit was Awesome they took care of me. I WILL Recommend Oxford dental to anyone. Thanks for care Sincerely Tim Harrell
Lindi, Hailey, LJ and Dr. Phillips go the extra mile for me EVERY TIME. I am so appreciative, not only for their expertise in their respective fields, but for the kindness, compassion and FUN they bring to my dental experience, which is crazy! Let’s also be real, I enjoy the saltwater aquarium in the waiting room SO MUCH, haha. I do not wait past my appointment time and I’ve never had a dental insurance issue ever. It is always a zero balance. No wonder they are voted Oxford Mississippi’s finest dental group year after year after year after year. Period! LOOK NO FURTHER! Ask for the gas on any dental procedure as it’s a MUST for me! Did I mention I am a nurse of 30 years so I am not an easy sell😂🥰‼️
Receptionist knew our names as soon as we entered even though we were new patients. Waited less than 5 min in lobby. Hygienist(AK) and Dr. Phillips were excellent!
