I was referred by my dentist Dr. Mosely of Gladstone OR. The FIRST dentist I have ever trusted and felt completely at ease with. Whom also has 5 star reviews and whose team, is in my opinion, the very best I've ever seen in all of my 40 years of having dental work done, which I get terrified of having btw. I actually look forward to dental appointments and am not terrified because of Dr. Mosely and his team! They are a remarkable team that strives to put patients as ease and succeeds well at providing comfort for something that is scary for me, so I applaud them all. Dr. Mosely referred me to Pacific for wisdom tooth surgery, and I met Dr. Russell today for multiple wisdom tooth surgery options, 3 to be exact, 1 that Dr. Mosely thought was important due to placement and potential decay of a molar in front of it. The first thing I liked, comfortable waiting room chairs, which shows these professionals care about the comfort of not only their patients, yet also the comfort of those who have to wait to care for the paitent after surgery. Second, the staff was friendly and direct in what was going to happen in my consult. I had a Panoramic Film performed, as my scans were almost 2 years old. I watched a video about wisdom tooth extractions (which is why I was there.) I admit it was scary. Third, as soon as Dr. Russell entered the room, he shook my hand and we spoke candidly and extensively about options, what he saw, what he could offer, what I could expect and he was remarkably candid about the reality of what I would face, my recovery and encouraged me to both speak to my husband about it, and think about what I wanted to do before I scheduled surgery. That showed me how much he actually cares about what he is doing and wants his patients to know exactly what we are signing up for when we have surgery. He was honest, candid, and he has a firm handshake. We actually shook hands 3 times during my appointment and I feel very confident in his ethics, ability and I will do as he advised, and as my general dentist advised. It's hard to trust, yet eye contact, firm handshakes and a professional telling you, "think about it, talk with your spouse, schedule when your ready" that means something to me as a business owner with ethics and values. There was zero pressure. I'm going to have the surgery, and I'm choosing Dr. Russell because a denstist I have learned to trust referred me, and when Dr. Russell looked me in the eye the entire time he provided a treatment plan, shook my hand multiple times and disclosed every possible negative scenerio along with the positive, I will put my faith and trust in him, because it shows me he cares about his patients and wants to ensure they are comfortable, knowledable and prepared for both positive or negative outcomes. Surgery is a gamble, regardless of what it is for. We are all human, we all make mistakes and we all seek remedy. If I have to gamble for surgery, I trust Dr. Russell. I am responsible for pre-op and post op care. His handshake, charisma and dedication to patients means I need to do my part as a patient and follow protocal.

Not alot of contact or warmth from the surgeon- didn’t speak after the surgery at all left it to the assistant and my daughter had no feeling in mouth to chin still got run around about that from assistant no Dr concern or connection. Our dentist helped us with that in the end both understand and know what we can do to support nerve regenerations. Pacific said well sometimes that happens it’s rare b ur a risk. I highly recommend three rivers oral surgery where my other kids went. Do not go to pacific I regret it.

Went in for a consult. They took many photos and ultimately decided I had major loss of bone and couldn’t do an implant, ie a bone graft wouldn’t be successful. I am thankful for the honesty since the doctor didn’t feel comfortable confident in his abilities. He then referred me to a endodontic specialist for a root canal. Once I showed up, the root canal specialist was confused why I would even be referred to him… you can’t do a root canal with major bone loss. I felt like the lack of knowledge was wasting my time. The endodontic specialist asked me to get a second opinion on an implant by another implant specialist. Specifically, Northwest Oral and Facial Surgery in Vancouver, WA. I went in, the doctor didn’t want to over promise a positive outcome, but did say I was young, healthy, ect and an implant could work after all. I’ve now had an implant for over a year with zero issues. If you’re denied an implant by this location, please do get a second opinion.

Dr. Humble and the rest of the care team at Pacific Oral Surgery are amazing. I've felt incredibly well taken care of, and I highly recommend their office if you need an extraction or implant. I was terrified when I first was told I'd need an extraction for a fractured tooth, and Dr. Humble made me feel much better, and did a wonderful job explaining the situation. I healed with no problems. Just all around a wonderful experience, I would choose to come back here for any future work without hesitation.

I visited the dental surgeon in April, based on a recommendation from my dentist, and was subsequently examined and scheduled for surgery on June 2. When I called to confirm my appointment one week prior to the scheduled surgery, I inquired about billing and was informed that I was required to pay an $800 deductible on the day of surgery. As I was unable to pay at that time, my surgery was cancelled. I would like to emphasize that I am currently experiencing pain and discomfort due to broken molars and an abscess. I’m in pain every day and I’m considering ending it all because of it. Furthermore, I received a bill for nearly $300 for the examination, which my insurance covered.
