Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleI just had a filling redone and a chipped tooth restored in the same visit. I have been to People's Dental multiple times and have always had a consistently pleasant (and I have dental procedure phobia), friendly and professional experience. No issues whatsoever other than my own nerves. Whatever kind of "novocaine" they use is great because it numbs super effectively but also wears off pretty fast so you can resume normal activities quickly. Their staffing stays consistent so I see familiar faces. I will continue to go to People's and highly recommend them!
Absolutely great place for your regular dental visits. Last 3 visits I had was with Ms Lauren and Dr Ables. Ms Lauren is absolutely great at what she does. Every visit I had was great from cleaning to explaining the process and making it a good experience . Dr Ables is awesome as well. Very knowledgeable, to the point and good plan of action for patient. Thank you Ms Lauren and Dr Ables for making the dental appointment pleasant!!
I honestly had the best experience. I had to have a bad crown redone that was done out of state And Both the assistant and the dentist were very explanatory in their process. They were very comforting and very thorough. The dentist isn’t a comfortable place for a lot of people, but I assure you this was a great place and I will continue to refer everyone. I know to people’s Dental in Starkville.
They were able to correct an issue from a past dentistry that I didn’t even know existed! Not only did they listen to my concerns, but my wisdom tooth extraction was painless! 10/10 will recommend!
I have visited Peoples since 2021 for six month cleanings. I developed a cavity recently and had it filled by their newest dentist, fresh from school. I haven’t had a cavity in 40 years and was surprised that not much has changed in the numbing, drilling, grinding and occasional check-ins (“how ya doin”) process after all these years. The anxiety was all me (just like 40 years ago) but all went well. Is it just me or are doctors getting younger and younger looking? If you have to go through dental work at Peoples and someone who looks 16 walks in to numb you up- you’re in good hands.
