I’ve been sitting on this review for a while because I was so shocked at our experience with Dr. Kim. We went to see him because my daughter needed oral surgery to remove a piece of broken tooth. The first thing he said, before even greeting her was “don’t blow your nose”. OK. The second thing he said in front of , his assistant and directly to my daughter was “Not that you could with all that junk in your face”. My daughter has nose rings. Hardly radical stuff. There is no way that comment was appropriate or even true. Once we got a treatment plan, it was twice as expensive as where we finally went for the procedure. In retrospect, the worst “professional” interaction I’ve ever witnessed. Avoid this doctor, you can do much better. In contrast, his staff was great and even recognized that his comment was offensive.
I'm scared of the dentist but today was the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr kim was amazing as was the nurse very helpful in keeping me calm and pain free. Had to get a wisdom tooth extraction.
Came in for tooth extraction, went back a week later because excruciating pain on one side. Dr. Kim squirted ice cold water into the socket (on the exposed nerve because I had a coronectomy ) and left before I even finished saying “that was so bad” I cried in the parking lot for 30 minutes dry heaving in pain
Dr. Kim is my new favorite tooth fairy. This was easily the best dental experiences of my life, certainly the shortest and most pain free. Two wisdom teeth removed on the same side. Dr Kim had my upper fully erupted third-molar out in less than 60 seconds and the lower partial boney extraction seemed like it was 5 minutes or less. The tiny bone saw feels like an electric toothbrush, no pain felt whatsoever during or after. I gave the Doctor a few high fives when he was done pulling the teeth because he was so fast. Take the nitrous. Even if you are the most nervous person in the world, that stuff will make your anxiety evaporate in about 2 minutes. You'll get a little numbing agent on your gums and then 3 quick shots (barely felt them and only for a split second each) that will last you a good 6-8 hours. After those shots, you won't feel a thing. He even stitched the lower socket shut to help it heal and prevent complications. I have two more wisdom teeth that probably won't ever need to come out. If for some reason they do though, I will definitely be coming back to see Dr. Kim again! Great Oral surgeon!
This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a Dentist/Oral surgeon Dr. Kim does amazing work I can barely tell I had my wisdom teeth removed. I had no pain the days after my removal. Excellent work and really nice staff.
