I recently switched dentists and I was a bit nervous, but when I got there Gretty in the front was warm and welcoming and eased my nerves! The waiting room was warm and calming! When they brought me back McKenzie was amazing she explained everything to me, she understood and listened to how I prefer some things and was thorough! I met Dr. Spaniel and she is very professional and warm! I know I’m in good hands! See you all in 6 months!!!
The staff here is amazing and I really mean that as a whole. I started with a semi-emergency call to get in for really bad tooth pain and was told I could be fit in later that day. I needed to call back and give my insurance info though and I couldn't find it. Not getting any sleep the night before, after calling, the pain actually subsided. I slept instead of calling back right away, missing the opening that day, but I live close by and later went in to make the appointment for the next day. The next morning, the pain returned and worse than before. My appointment was at 4pm, but Michelle gave me a call around 1:30, remembering that I was in a great deal of pain and told me there was an opening at 2! I rushed in. Everything was explained clearly and professionally about insurance and payments before beginning and I really appreciate that. It all integrated well while the amazing Dr. Julie Spaniel and assistant Kelly prepped. Dr. Spaniel has a calm and diligent approach in her work, resulting in as relaxing of an experience of a last-minute painful root canal taken care of you can have. All in all, I wasn't expecting on such short notice to feel as welcomed as I was, and between those mentioned here and the others who would pop in and assist when and where possible, the whole team here seemed to operate more like a truly welcoming family, from start to finish. I should add also that I noted, at the time, every patient I saw in the lobby seemed to feel welcomed- and in some strange but good way, happy to be at the dentist office and not just another number in line. I was a patient here many years ago, but stopped going- not because of anything negative here, but I absolutely don't remember the office being as great as they were on this visit. Great work everyone, it's a breath of fresh air to find service on this level these days.
The staff at pioneer is always nice and courteous. They do great work. And I enjoy sitting in the chair and relaxing while they work on my teeth.. I never had such a great time at the dentist. I'm actually looking forward to my next six month visit. Mackenzie was especially nice. Thank you again to the staff at pioneer.
I've been a patient here for 5 years and it's always been a joy to go there. Everyone is so kind and helpful! Vince is a great hygienist! He's super funny and very down to earth. I got to meet their new doctor today, Dr. Emily, and she was very polite and patient when explaining treatment and/or things we needed to work on.
Today was my first time coming to Pioneer Dental in Oregon city I was really nervous because I always have anxiety going to any kind of dental appointment. Everybody was so kind and caring. They made sure I felt totally ease. Explained everything to me. There was no wait time I didn’t even have time to fill the paperwork before I was being called back. The dentist was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the hygienist was very gentle and kind. I look forward to coming back.
