Powered by GoogleI wouldn’t take my 4 year old anywhere else. Michelle is amazing my son, prepping him every step of the way. Constantly praising him (and I 🥹). Amazing staff, quick & quiet check in. The woman who sat in with us and documented.. amazing. The doctor? Amazing. It’s so helpful he has a kid my son’s age. He just “gets” those unsure kid scares. Thank you all for an amazing dentist experience!
Dr. Wilcko is absolutely fantastic. I had an appointment for a cleaning on the 12th. He took the time to check my son who just recently had dental surgery on the 8th to make sure he was healing good. My hygienist Sydney is absolutely fantastic as well. Everyone there has always been so friendly and helpful. And I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get called back. Quick and efficient and great at their job!!!
My dentist and her assistant were very efficient. I had several procedures completed during my 45 minute appointment! However, I find the billing to be seriously high--and this was with my purchase of a discount plan through the office! Not sure if I will return.
Always kind and professional! Dr. Walter's and team never fails to make me feel genuinely cared for. They always go above and beyond. I would (and have) recommend their office to family and friends. Big thank you, Plaza Dental!!
I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Plaza Dental Associates and feel compelled to share this for other parents who may be considering care for their children. When scheduling my son’s appointment, we were very clear that he would need dental work due to tooth decay and that we did not consent to the use of nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Our decision was based on prior adverse reactions our children have experienced due to ADHD-related sensitivities. This was clearly communicated at the time of scheduling, again during a confirmation phone call the morning of the appointment, and once more upon arrival. Despite this, we were repeatedly asked if we would be using laughing gas. Once we were finally brought into the treatment room, the dentist stated that he “does not work on children without gas.” This was both alarming and frustrating, given how clearly our boundaries had been communicated multiple times. The dentist left the room, returned, and reluctantly agreed to proceed—visibly throwing his hands up and expressing dissatisfaction before beginning treatment. What makes this especially troubling is that my son handled the entire procedure exceptionally well. The work took approximately three minutes. He calmly accepted the novocaine, did not flinch, cry, or show distress, and the appointment itself was medically uneventful. Unfortunately, the provider’s attitude, demeanor, and lack of respect for parental consent and prior communication overshadowed the entire visit. Parents should never feel pressured, dismissed, or made to feel like an inconvenience for advocating for their child’s well-being. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this practice to families who value clear communication, respectful treatment, and child-centered care.
