That Lacey has the hands of an angel. Manages to do an entire cleaning without spraying me in the face or getting toothpaste everywhere, bless her heart. The tall guy was ok. Boy that front desk was just the best, can’t remember her name for the life of me. Jane? Jayde? Erin? 10/10 team there.
Update: They removed my attachments. The care staff was great. The office side is where my issue lies. I had a very frustrating experience with my orthodontic treatment here. I paid in full for an unlimited Invisalign-style plan, but my case was later closed without my knowledge. I was told at my last visit to finish my current trays and that they would order more or remove the attachments afterward. Now I am being told I must pay additional fees just to have the orthodontic attachments removed and to receive retainers, which I believed were included in my original treatment plan. After being in trays for several years and going through multiple refinements, this has been extremely disappointing and stressful. Communication has been poor, and I do not feel my treatment was handled professionally or with clear expectations. I would encourage others to get everything in writing and ask detailed questions about what happens at the end of treatment.
I have been going to Plaza Dentist for years despite the turnover. I recently received a paper in the mail saying I can no longer be a patient without any explanation. I have always paid up front for every visit which has never been cheap. They no longer accept Delta Delta so you must pay upfront. Lacey has always been my hygienist and she is great! However when I was supposed to have a cap put on and my blood pressure went way high after the meds they gave me. The DR wanted me to try and do the procedure with a high bp and I refused and went to the ER instead. So maybe that is why. Regardless I am always going to look out for my own safety and you think that is what they would want also..So if that is the case. I am glad I am no longer a patient. If this is how they are treating people, I dont see how they will stay in business for long!
I haven’t been back to the dentist since my previous dentist retired during Covid shutdown. The staff at Plaza Dental were amazing! After my initial visit, they were able to get me in right away for my deep clean and filling I needed done. They made the process very comfortable and mostly anxiety-free for me! They also answered any questions I had about my dental health and explained my health plan going forward in a way that was easy to understand. I’m looking forward to future visits!
My first visit and Rebecca and Dr. Dietrich are wonderful. Knowledgeable, friendly and made my visit very comfortable. 10/10 recommend
