Started at Ponderosa Dental when my prior dentist tried to schedule me for 4 quad deep cleaning but wanted to do it in 4 different visits (which I felt was over kill). I asked to be referred to my periodontist as this is their specialty. They denied my request. I took my records to Ponderosa and did not need a deep cleaning. Heidi S is very professional and detailed. I Love my visits with her. She always cleans my smile like the expert she is. See you in 3 months. 😬
Front office staff is the best part about this place. The worst general dentist I have ever seen in my 32 years of life. Outside of greeting me upon entering the room, this man did not explain anything, literally did not say a word to me during my entire procedure - a rushed and poorly done filling. The kicker is the tooth never hurt me before (it is not the tooth I went in regarding) but after the filling / healing, it now hurts so horribly I can’t even drink water. The actual shape and texture of the filling is awful and very sharp and rough. The dentist was incredibly rough in pulling my mouth and lips. Additionally, my braces were freshly off and the dentist very roughly wiggled one of my teeth around (so hard it yanked my head forward) advising it is “dead” and “going to fall out”….I went to get a second opinion and was told that is far from the truth and the tooth is fine. Waste of my time and money as I now I have to go have this done properly elsewhere. Thanks for nothin! I would love my money back.
I am new to the area. Needed a new dentist. Looked online and read reviews. Decided to give Dr. Curtis a try. I found him to be very nice, with a sense of humor. He Understood….as most people are….i am apprehensive going to dentists. His staff set up a plan of action for my dental needs and as of right now…..we’re headed forward. I have confidence I will get the care I am needing. His staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
I am new to town and went to another dentist first. They were good but wanted to do lots of extras that I didn't really need. I then went to Ponderosa Family Dental and LOVE them. Amazing people. I am so happy I found them. I am a bit of a dental snob too, my mom was in the industry and teeth have always been a huge focus for me.
Dr. Curtis is the best dentist I've experienced in my 75 yrs. Once upon a time I dreaded going to a dentist. Not with Dr. Curtis.he has a calming professional way. He gives the best shots.. The staff is amazing. It's a very relaxed feeling when you enter the office.
