My daughter’s dentist referred us to Pueblo dental surgery center for wisdom tooth extraction. I received an initial call from this practice once the referral was received, and played phone tag a few times until I was ghosted. They did not return my last call. How is a business that is open 40+ hours each week unable to establish communication with a prospective patient??? What kind of establishment stops responding to a referral who obviously wants their services?

I’m highly disappointed in this clinic I got my wisdom teeth removal 8/29 I went back because my cheek was super swollen and they referred me to my normal dentist who referred me back. I didn’t end up getting a call back to me and making an appointment until 9/10 and told me he thought it was cellulitis, mind you this is an “oral surgeon” so I waited a day or two and the swelling started to feel like it was going to my neck. When I asked Dr. Patrick Burkardt when he would be back so we can have a check up again he told me he wouldn’t be back until October 1. Three weeks later?? So I took it upon myself to go to the ER very concerned! Turned out I had an abscess that was divided by three walls you would think an “Oral surgeon” would be knowledgeable of that so they had somebody on call in the hospital literally have to do surgery to drain it. His name was Dr. Brandon Payne, who seemed very concerned about this guy, and told me he was not an oral surgeon. No follow up calls and no appointment for 3 weeks if I had waited, this could’ve spread to my bone and potentially turned into sepsis. I’m now admitted and have to stay here for 3 days to be monitored and allow my abscess to drain properly while receiving IV antibiotics.

Absolutely horrible I am a kid posting this review on Google maps this place is absolutely horrible. My parents drove up to the place and and I got out nervous. I went inside. It was beautiful. I can’t deny that we went up to the receptionist and the receptionist was the only good thing about that place and the looks right when we sat down, we got called into the consultation room so then today asked me a couple questions about blah blah blah and then the question that made me so nervous injection or mask I said neither in a joking tone and then he said to my parents that they would usually give me the injection for patients that don’t cooperate, said that as a joke by the way They injected me with the anesthesia and then they put me in a wheelchair and took me to a room. What felt like two seconds later I woke up with a tube down my throat in the recovery room. I look around. I take the tube out of my throat. I look on my hand. I’m connected to an IV. Then I look on my arm. There’s a huge bruise on my arm where they injected me. I got in trouble from my school them thinking that my parents did this when in reality this stupid place did it I do not recommend this place at all if you have a appointment either cancel it or just don’t show up. When my wisdom teeth grow, I am definitely not going to this place. Oh and young at heart kids dental they’re just worse.

Receptionist noted in my child’s file that she attempted to call and couldn’t leave a voicemail because I didn’t have one set up when I arrived to my child’s appointment at 6:40 am a lady attending the desk read the note aloud to me. I immediately double Checked my call log and voicemail and showed her I didn’t have a missed call or voicemail and confirmed. I did, indeed have a voicemail set. she then proceeded to tell me there wasn’t anything she could do my child was taking out of the system and she was just reading the notes. When I asked what number they had on file she ignored my question and told me my child could be put on stand by for the day. meaning my child couldn’t all day eat, or I could wait the appointment that would have been scheduled after us to see if they showed up. I agreed to wait another staff member came out to get the patients we were waiting for and announced they were 20 minutes late and had missed their appointment. Lady that was attending the desk then said they weren’t answering her calls either. We stood waiting another 10 minutes and patients finally arrived making them 30 minutes late. My child was denied treatment because the receptionist allegedly “called and couldn’t leave a message for me to call back” I have zero calls from the office or any voicemails. I thinks it’s absolutely ridiculous how ny child got kicked out of the schedule for something that was a miscommunication and we still arrived on time and ready for our appointment at 6 :40 am but it was okay for the patients we were waiting for to be 30+ minutes late and still be seen.
