I recently had a cleaning as well as some other dental work done with Quality Dental Care. Dr. Mims and his staff were amazing! From the time you walk in to the time you leave it is personable and they talk to you very down to earth. Now I will say they tell you what needs to be done and what you need to do to help you teeth and don't sugar coat it, I personally like that about them! I have called and asked questions with their office serval times, questions they probaly think are silly and not once did anyone seem aggrivated or "fed up" with it. Overall very positive experience!
Quality care is not a priority. I gave two stars because I needed a tooth extraction and every other dentist was booked out for months. Quality Dental was able to see me immediately. While I was relieved they solved my problem I will never go back nor recommend their services to anyone else. My first impression was of the receptionist who seemed annoyed and was verbally rude to the lady on the phone with her. While in the waiting room, a patient left crying and upset. When I was called back there was no discussion of needing to take X-rays before they asked me to go to the machine and take them. When they took me back to a room, I could hear another woman moaning and crying in pain. The dentist came in before I could decide to leave. He seemed very rushed and kept misunderstanding which teeth I was describing during our consultation. After looking at the images he said he wanted to pull three different teeth. I told him I’d rather keep the ones that aren’t causing me issues but that seemed to annoy him. He almost rushed me out of the office at that point saying he can refer me to someone else. I asked him if he could just pull the tooth in pain and he agreed. He then moved to the other side of me and asked me to open my mouth. Without any prior warning or description of his intentions, he gave me the first numbing shot while saying “this will pinch”. Since I had no warning of what he was doing I thought he was going to pull the tooth out right then and there. I pulled away from him before realizing what he was doing. After a few minutes he came back and asked me to open my mouth again saying it will only take four seconds to pull. Afterward his assistant gave me a bag of gauze and told me how to schedule another appointment. They did not discuss aftercare before sending me on my way. It was a very quick process and left me a little shook to be honest. Later I found a paper in the gauze bag with aftercare instructions. Overall they got the job done but with little to no beside manners or care. Seems like they try to push as many patients through as quickly as possible, probably for financial purposes. 2026
I am so very terrified of the dentist. I missed several apps. because of my anxiety. But Dr.Mimms pulled 17 teeth....yep..and anytime I felt discomfort he gave me shots. And my teeth look fantastic. I read some of his bad reviews and I wonder how many are fake. Because I didn't experience anything bad. Best experience so far.So if your like me and need a new smile but scared this is the man to see. Oh and his staff was amazing. Gentle and kind. Can't say enough about Quality Dental.
I recently got fitted for dentures and had some teeth removed from Quality. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing. As soon as you enter the front desk staff greeted me with a smile and was happy to help, the nurse that numbed me for the procedure was thorough and also very gentle. For someone who has dentist anxiety this was the best experience I have ever had. The extraction itself was very quick and painless he listened to me and adjusted accordingly. I am so grateful to have found this quality of care and will definitely be back in the future for any dental needs.
If I could give more stars I would. I am terrified of the dentist but some how this dentist made me comfortable.. he never sugar coated anything he was up front about what was going to hurt. I liked the honesty he had with me. I went for top dentures and that's just what I got he didn't try talking me out of it he actually agreed with me.... I highly recommend everyone who needs work done to go to him! My teeth came out perfect I cried like a baby when I seen my new smile if your like me and are terrified of dentist this dentist is perfect for you to go to! If I need anymore work this is the place I am going to!!!!! after 2 1/2 years i finally got my permanent teeth and i can not thank this office enough they got me in the same day i called about wanting my permanent set and had them back within a week and half. Friendly staff and always willing to make sure I was happy with my teeth before i leave. I cannot thank them enough! i will be back to get my bottom teeth done. i refuse to go anywhere else....
