Dr. Rauk and her team were absolutely incredible. I called multiple offices trying to get in on short notice before an important family event, and they were the only ones willing to make it work. From the moment I arrived, the entire team was professional, kind, and accommodating. What I expected to be a quick repair turned into one of the most thorough dental experiences I’ve ever had. Dr. Rauk didn’t just fix my tooth — she took the time to explain in detail why it kept breaking, walked me through my bite and jaw mechanics, and addressed the root cause instead of just patching it again. The level of care and attention was far beyond anything I’ve experienced before. I was in the chair for a significant amount of time because she was meticulous and committed to doing it right. That meant a lot to me. I left not only with my tooth repaired, but with a real understanding of what’s going on and a long-term plan to prevent it from happening again. Truly grateful for the professionalism, skill, and compassion shown by Dr. Rauk and her entire staff. They went above and beyond, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Kim was extremely helpful and informative, and the staff was great overall. However, when it comes to the financial side, make sure you fully understand all the details. I strongly recommend contacting your dental insurance provider directly and keeping records of all conversations. I’ve been going back and forth between the insurance company and the office for weeks trying to resolve a reimbursement issue. This is especially important for State insurance (MA) patients, but even if you have different insurance, be sure to verify your coverage and understand all the details upfront.
Rauk dentistry was so helpful. My newborn was struggling to feed due to a tongue and lip tie. Dr. Kim and Sara were able to release those ties and assist us in learning how to feed again pain free. We now are thriving with being able to exclusively nurse. We are so thankful for them & would recommend them to anyone!
I cannot recommend Dr. Kim and her team enough. My newborn had to keep going back to pediatrics because he wasn’t gaining weight - yet pediatrics was not helpful in getting to the root cause of this. They simply wanted to do weight checks every other day and for me to supplement with formula. Being my 4th baby I knew this wasn’t necessary as supply wasn’t an issue. I brought my newborn to a phenomenal CST who identified his severe lip and buckle ties as well as a tongue tie. I then scheduled the frenectomy at Rauk and they were so so great to work with. A kind caring team. Equally as important is their knowledge in airway dentistry - it is life changing. I then brought my 5 and 3 year old in for cleanings and assessments and learned jaw development and airway need to be addressed for them as well. These things can stem from untreated tongue and lip ties in newborns. I wish I had known about Rauk Dentistry with my first 3 babies, but am so glad to have found them this time around. If you’re being told by pediatricians that there’s no tongue or lip ties, or that certain foods mom is eating is upsetting baby through breast milk so quit eating them, or “some babies are just super fussy” - seek a second opinion at Rauk Family Dentistry!
If you are in the central Minnesota area, I would highly recommend Rauk dentistry for any and all of your dental needs. Dr. Rauk and her team made themselves available for my daughter’s frenectomy aftercare, and went above and beyond despite not doing the initial procedure. I cannot express how instructive and supportive they (Kim, Sarah and the whole team) were in making sure we understood the benefits to revising a tongue and lip tie, equipping us with education in the required exercises, and putting us in touch with a care team in the area (CST, Chiropractics, and CMT). They pursue and perpetuate excellent care. I would highly recommend getting in touch with them!
