I DO NOT like the dentist, never have, and much to the detriment of my teeth. but going to Ridgeview (and I have been there a lot, fixing a very neglected mouth) they have been quick, efficient, friendly and very professional as well. Dr. S is kind, he listens, he explains things well, he doesn't try to talk to you while his hands are in your mouth ;) and he is funny and friendly in a way I have never experienced in a dentist before. I have heard him speaking with other patients while there and he treats everyone the same and is just a good person. I would recommend them for adult or child care, hands down, over any other dentist I've known.
I called the office Friday morning after experiencing increasing severe toothache pain and accompanying headaches. I explained my situation and the receptionist found me an appointment time in their busy schedule. When I checked I was brought back for a xray. The xray showed a cavity under the gumline that had been missed in a recent exam by another dentist. Dr Schvaneveldt explained the circumstances and addressed the cavity. He said in his entire career he had only seen a couple similar cases. Thanks to his expertise I am now pain free and my headaches are gone. The dental hygienist provided phenomenal support throughout the procedure. I give Ridge View Smile my unconditional gratitude and praise.
My appointment was a good one, the doctor was very nice and professional. The technician who did my cleaning was very kind and did an awesome job. There was another technician that came out front to get me, I found her very nice and helpful.
The hygenists are kind and great at their jobs. They are engaged in what they're doing and efficient at their work. They are meticulous at providing the best cleaning they can do. The dentist is friendly and also thoughtful about what he does. He is thorough when checking my teeth to ensure they're healthy and happy.
Absolutely love this office. Dr. Schvaneveldt is very welcoming as are all his staff. Knowledge, caring, any questions or concerns are answered. I've never had issues with any service I've received going on 10+ years, exams 2x a year.
