I had the best experience at Dr. Smullin’s office. Two of my four wisdom teeth were horizontal/buried and complicated, i had two consultations elsewhere where they even preferred/suggested coronectomy. Dr. Smullin extracted all four of mine smoothly and i had minimal pain & swelling after the operation. I could not have imagined a better outcome than what i had with Dr. Smullin.. I am definitely going to recommend him to all my friends!
The office was well kept, the staff pleasant and the Dr.’s work excellent however, despite the fact that the office says they take Delta Dental Premier insurance, they required that I pay the procedure cost up front. No problem, I did with the office saying they would refund the amount the insurance would cover when they received the covered amount. It was 60+ days since the procedure today with no notification of a refund. Delta Dental sent a coverage statement to me by October 14th and paid the office on November 3rd. Today Dec 9th, I had to call to find out the status of the refund and was told I had options. There was no follow up from the office to proactively provide the $800+ refund. Not a Patient First type service when it comes to the financial services part of a procedure. Beware. Update - immediately after posting my review, Dr. Smullin called to apologize for the delay in returning my refund. The office actioned the refund the same day. I confirmed to him that the review had nothing to do with the care he provided, which was excellent, but with the delay in the refund. The situation was corrected but the correction had to be initiated by me.
Wonderful experience here with my daughter’s baby tooth extraction. Dr. Smullin was so calming, accommodating, friendly, and patient. She was very nervous going in but he easily put her at ease and she didn’t even flinch through the procedure. The staff was also incredibly pleasant and helpful. Very highly recommend this practice!
My 17 year old son needed 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed this summer. All appointments went very smoothly and Dr. Smullen was very gentle and reassuring during the whole process. We felt very well taken care off and the whole office staff was wonderful also. The doctor really listened to the young patient and we can truly recommend his services to our Ridgefield community.
What a great experience. The staff is knowledgeable, Dr. Smullin is amazing and the office is spotless. They take great pride in doing it right the first time. Wisdom teeth were pulled without any pain and the healing process was exceptional. Definitely will recommend.
