Powered by GoogleI had a cleaning the other day with Jessica. She was professional in her manner, and very skilled with delicate cleaning. I could tell she was doing a great job, but it wasn't hurting so much! I'm very happy with Jessica, and hope to have her continue to take care of my cleanings!
I've gone here for years and the dentists used to be very high quality and Dr. Belmont still is. However, during Covid they brought in other dentists who quoted me $900 for a cavity filling with my insurance. Upon a second opinion I got the cavity filled for $40 with my insurance. Additionally I recently lost my dental insurance and called to ask how much a cleaning is out of pocket. First they told me they wouldn't be able to quote me until after my cleaning. I asked them to check on this policy and later told me that I couldn't get a cleaning without X-rays (event thought I told them I was current on my X-rays) which in my opinion denies people who are paying out of pocket oral health care. After going here for over 10 years I'm seeking other options.
Had a great experience. Dr. Belmont did a meticulous and great job with my crown in the same day! The assistant Jessica also was really good, as well as, the front desk. They informed me of my copay amount in advance and sent the rest to my insurance. From beginning to end very happy and have found our dental home right here in Salida. Thank you for taking such good care of me!
After 26 years with excellent upper veneers, several recently needed to be replaced. Dr. King and Jessica Bak got me thru the process with professional guidance to match the other teeth as well as great care and expertise to remove the old ones and replace them with new veneers. Salida Family Dentistry has been outstanding especially with the tricky stuff. I highly recommend them.
I called to see if the dentist could take a quick look at a specific tooth while I was already in for my cleaning. I was surprised when they told me they would have to charge me for another exam. I didn’t like that policy because I assumed a quick check during a cleaning would be part of the service, not an additional cost. I understand that dental offices often have set procedures and billing codes, but it would feel more customer-friendly if a short inspection could be done without an extra fee, especially when I’m already there for a scheduled cleaning. I’m sharing this feedback because I value the care I receive, but I also want to feel like my concerns can be addressed without always incurring extra charges.
