Was super excited to be referred to a close oral surgeon for my special needs adult daughter that required a surgeon that takes her secondary insurance for anything that wasn't covered by our primary. Delta dental paid 80% which would of left us with the 20% out of pocket. Her secondary Liberty Dental sent us a list with them on it. Our appt went well, but I was a little concerned that there was no other customers in the office at the time. We met with Dr. Colson and it just seemed a little superficial. She told us they needed to get a prior auth and would have to get a quote from her anesthesiologist and would call me with my portion. Days went by with no contact. I had to call and call. My daughter had a very bad infection below the jaw line near the nerve ending....she was in pain and had to be treated for the infection until the surgery. She could not give me a direct time frame. I waited a week and was told that I needed to contact her anesthesiologist myself and work out a price with them myself. And left me hanging. I was not impressed with Dr. Colson's professionalism for my specific situation with my special needs daughter and would not recommend her if you are needing her as someone that takes a secondary insurance, dont do it, or be prepared to deal with her anesthesiologist yourself! Sadly for me, there was no urgency for her...so gladly we moved on. Best of luck!
I cannot recommend this doctor enough! They Are absolutely fantastic. It pays To seek a second opinion. The first office we went to was going to cost me Four times the price. My insurance company Recommended San Tan Oral. I am so glad I went there and they were able to help us out. I have twins who are getting their wisdom teeth removed at the same time. Allie at the front desk is the absolute best. She had everything organized and ready to go and got my kids in within a few weeks to have the procedure done. Definitely consider San tan oral surgery for all of your wisdom teeth needs. you are in very good hands.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Colson and her assistant Lisa. They have done two dental implants for me, and from start to finish, the care I received was absolutely exceptional. I am a nervous and difficult patient—but Dr. Colson and Lisa have always been patient, kind, and understanding with me. Their work is truly top-notch, and their compassion makes all the difference. Every visit, I felt cared for. My results have been excellent, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Because of the trust and confidence I have in Dr. Colson, I took my teenage son to her for a complicated oral surgery. She took amazing care of him as well, and the experience only deepened my gratitude and respect for her skill and professionalism. I truly appreciate Dr. Colson’s expertise, warmth, and dedication. I’m so thankful to have found her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Colson and her team to anyone needing oral surgery or implants.
Hands down the absolute BEST dental experience I have ever had!! I have TERRIBLE teeth and a HUGE fear of the dentist. By the time I met Dr, Colson and her team, my mouth was a mess! I opted for the All-In-Four and let me tell you...LIFE CHANGING!! I was sadly one of the "worst case scenarios" and the process has been ongoing for many months. However, Dr. Colson and her team have been there every step of the way. You will NOT find a friendlier office! The pain was NO WHERE near as bad as I expected and now I can smile (and eat) with confidence! If you are on this fence about this type of procedure, do it. I promise you will not regret it!
