About the Practice
At Sexton Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, we practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom teeth removal. We also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Additionally, our staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting.

I cannot thank Dr. Weiskopf at Sexton and Weiskopf enough for his incredible care. A week before Thanksgiving, I developed severe pain from my wisdom teeth. The staff was incredibly accommodating, fitting me in for a consultation within two days and scheduling my surgery for the following week. Dr. Weiskopf was kind, attentive, and truly listened to my concerns. While the surgery went smoothly, I experienced some discomfort over the weekend due to food becoming lodged in an extraction site. Even though it was his time off, Dr. Weiskopf spoke with me personally to manage my pain and prescribe medication. He then fit me in that Monday for an X-ray and cleaning to ensure everything was healing properly. It’s clear that he truly cares about his patients—I highly recommend him!
The whole staff was amazing and informative. I went for wisdom teeth removal, and although I was under anesthesia it was quick. This is the second day post-op and I have experienced no pain at all. I sound highly recommend.
I am quite pleased with my whole process of getting my wisdom teeth removed with Sexton and Weiskopf. My surgeon was Dr. Weiskopf, even during the initial consultation he was very kind and explained everything to me in detail. At the time of my surgery, Savannah was my nurse/dental assistant. She was super sweet and helped calm my nerves (as much as possible). She made sure I knew everything that was going to happen and answered all my questions. The night after my surgery, I even got a call from Dr. Weiskopf to check how I was doing. Overall, I can tell this practice really cares about their patients and their outcomes.
I felt very comfortable and secure with all staff involved in my oral surgery. They made me feel relaxed and at ease as they prepared me for surgery. I really appreciated their review of my upcoming procedure, allergies and after-surgery care. Dr Sexton’s office provided me with written care instructions, as well as reviewing everything with my caregiver. This was immensely helpful! I received a follow-up call a couple of days after my surgery and they answered all my concerns. I contacted the office with some new worries and they scheduled me an appointment before the holiday to check my mouth, answer my questions and alleviate my fears. I am very grateful to have found out about Dr Sexton’s office and his crew!!
I had a great experience during my consultation and wisdom teeth extraction surgery with Dr. Russ. Dr.Russ was very thorough, kind, and patient during the consultation. He carefully answered my questions and explained what would occur during the extraction. The day of the procedure, I arrived nervous but was reassured and comforted throughout the process. The medical staff and Dr. Russ were great. Their beside manners were wonderful and I felt safe from the moment I sat in the chair. I’m one day post procedure with minimal pain and swelling. I would say this is a win for a 38 yr old lady who had 3 extractions! Thank you to Dr. Russ and team for providing excellent care. I’m highly satisfied and would recommend you all to anyone without hesitation
