I switched care providers and on my first visit, everyone made me feel so welcomed! I truly appreciated the friendly atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The dentist was amazing, he walked me through everything in detail. The dental hygienist was quick, thorough, and explained each step along the way. Scheduling was easy, and the receptionists are very kind. I’m so glad I made the switch!
I had to change dentist due to insurance coverage and found Christopher Sierra, DDS at Sierra Smiles in Pasadena, Texas. I was offered an appointment within days. When I arrived. I was greeted by the efficient and friendly staff. The doctor was informative, timely, and professional. I never felt hurried or rushed and he answered all questions to my satisfaction. I returned for a small procedure and again, I met the same professional staff and doctor. They were upfront about any costs expected as well as the portions covered and/or not covered by insurance. I felt at ease every step of the way and impressed with their state of the art equipment, especially for a small dentistry business. Of note, the dentist made the crown right then and there. I would 100% recommend this dentist to anyone in the area. Definitely worth your consideration.
I've been putting off the dentist for years. After hearing amazing stories about Sierra smiles, I finally made appointment. So glad I did. Every aspect of this place is excellent. Did a great job and experienced no pain. Can't say enough good things about my visit. Had a lot of work done. Anyone looking for a dentist...this should be your next stop. Thank you to all the staff.
*** It’s obviously apparent that this dental office removes negative reviews on Google because they are able to do that. Don’t be suckered by that 4.9 review. I will continually repost this as it will surely be removed*** Avoid this place at all costs. My wife has been in chronic pain since Dr. Sierra worked on her mouth. She had no pain prior to visiting Sierra smiles. My wife has been on 1600mg of ibuprofen since September of 2025. We had to pay $2900 to an oral surgeon to remove her wisdom teeth because Dr. Sierra decided to chip her wisdom tooth to do a filling on the adjacent tooth. He chipped the wisdom tooth too close to the nerve. The wisdom tooth should’ve been removed first. My wife initially asked him, “why not remove the wisdom tooth first?” He nervously laughed and said, “that’s a good question.” The wisdom tooth pain is gone, but the left side of her mouth has been in pain everywhere that he did a filling. My wife has been in pain for months because of Dr. Sierra. Please, please don’t go here.
Probably one of the worst dentists I've been to. When I went, I sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes, they took scans, then I sat for another 20 minutes waiting for the DDS, and then another 30 minutes for the cleaning. Three different employees waltzed in and looked surprised that I was even there? It took TWO HOURS for the appointment. They also wanted me to be happy that I could have the cleaning the same visit as the exam? Who doesn't clean during a dentist appointment WHEN I SAID I WAS THERE FOR A CLEANING?? If you try to call and ask questions, the receptionist(s) give made up answers instead of actually figuring out the correct answer. Staff as a whole don't communicate well, don't tell you everything that's going on, don't run insurance ahead of time, and cop-out with "this is just how it's done" and "that's standard". These are not appropriate responses, especially when they aren't true. Oh and if you go there after a root canal, they'll just straight up google what to do. Do not trust them with your teeth
