I came in to get my crowns replaced on my front teeth that I knocked out over 15 years ago. My mouth is now as good as new! The dentist is very knowledgeable and does excellent work. The rest of the staff is also super friendly and they work well together as a team. They always see you quickly and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes anytime I've gone. They accept insurance and are fairly priced. Definitely recommend to anyone in the Tampa area.

The best part of this practice is they are very gentle. Sometimes I leave the dentist and my gums hurt for a bit. Never a problem here. Also got new veneers and the result is beautiful. The price was very competitive with other offices.

Dr. Munro is the man. Funny, very good at making you feel comfortable, efficient, communicative. If you get nervous at doctor’s offices, I highly recommend coming to this one. I came in here for a basic exam/cleaning as well as a crown for my back molar. Very good at explaining things, and compassionate, both Dr. Munro and the other woman dentist (I didn’t get her name).

Have been a patient at this location for a long time, since the space first opened as a dental practice. Smile Design runs a great practice. Each dentist has been better. Currently Dr. Munro, DDS is exceptional. The staff is friendly, very helpful and adept. I would highly recommend this practice. And FINALLY they are validating parking as the office is in the professional space in the bottom of the Fort Brooke Municipal Garage. Thanks for that!

I have been to this location multiple times and have had bad experiences almost every time. I have veneers that I got elsewhere about 4 years ago and every time I visit, the dentist or hygienist makes a comment about the veneers that makes me feel self conscious. Overall, I’ve been happy with my veneers, so the staff’s comments and approach to talking to me about them has been really off-putting. Additionally, I have never had an issue at my regular cleaning appointments prior, but the male hygienist at my last appointment was so rough during the cleaning that I was involuntarily crying, it was incredibly painful, and not due to unhealthy teeth or gums. During that appointment, the hygienist was leaning against the eye protection they gave me to wear, which left a deep indent across my forehead, walking out of the appointment was a little uncomfortable knowing that indent was still there, but it was made much worse by the ladies at the reception desk visibly laughing at me. I have always had great experiences at the past dental practices, but based on the lack of maturity and understanding of how to appropriately talk to patients and make them comfortable, I would not recommend this office to anyone.
