We were very impressed with Dr Caroline Labritz after meeting her today. She was so kind & patient with our 3 year old. Her knowledge & warm welcome is not something you see often these days. Her staff was also very friendly & the office is clean & beautiful. We are so thankful we were referred to her & we’re looking forward to having a dentist who truly cares about her patient’s overall health.
I’m extremely disappointed with the way our family was treated today. I called to cancel my daughter’s dental appointment because she was exposed to strep throat and is not feeling well. Instead of understanding, the receptionist was incredibly rude and refused to work with us to reschedule anything sooner than 3 months out. She actually said, “we encourage our patients to keep their appointments no matter what.” When I responded that I would bring my child in with strep throat then, she laughed. There was no concern for my child’s health, no “I hope she feels better,” and no effort to help us find a reasonable solution. After I expressed how upsetting the interaction was, the office suddenly had availability the following week…. which made the initial response even more frustrating. For a pediatric dental office, compassion and basic kindness should be the bare minimum. This interaction was unprofessional and completely lacking in empathy. Based on this experience, I would not recommend bringing your children here. They are not as kid-friendly or understanding as they should be.
I have been consistently impressed with Sorriso Dental for every visit! I'd waited far too long to see the dentist, and after making an appointment with Sorriso they eliminated my anxiety and developed a plan to get my dental health back to excellent. Their team are all kind, courteous, and informative. It's clear that they all enjoy their jobs and Drs. Labritz and Makhdoom are both stellar practitioners. I've particularly been impressed with the educational components of the visits, where they explain their processes in detail and have concrete recommendations for products and practices to improve oral health at home. We're lucky to have a practice like this in Morgantown!
The dental group has some of the best professionals I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. I knew my dental work was going to be extensive, but they helped me break it down into a workable plan while addressing other underlying health issues undetected by previous doctors. I highly recommend Sorriso for a comprehensive treatment and knowledgeable doctors who are passionate about their patients.
My initial visit, first impressions: The office is clean and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Labritz' care is personalized. I left with an oral care plan and scheduled for my next appointment. I'm excited about the potential for a healthier mouth, leading to a healthier body.
